Dorian kept his expression neutral, but for some reason, he suddenly felt a pang of pity for the woman sitting in front of him.
She had a stunning figure and a beautiful face, but her husband never came home. Rumor had it that her husband was keeping several young women in other cities and had long since lost any feelings for her. That was the only reason she sought comfort in the nightlife scene.
But Felicia had her principles. Once she started seeing Dorian, she never touched another male escort. For Dorian, none of that mattered.
His relationship with Felicia was nothing more than a transactional physical arrangement. No matter how well she treated him, he was just her kept boy toy.
To him, Felicia was an ATM. She provided for his basic needs and bought him whatever he wanted. He knew very well that he didn't have any deep romantic feelings for her; when they were intimate, he performed like a machine.
Even if Dorian never said it out loud, Felicia knew he was simply a highly professional companion. That was the exact reason she had kept him around for so long.
Dorian dropped the act and looked her straight in the eye.
"I have no feelings for that girl, and she isn't my girlfriend. She was just using me to make her boyfriend jealous. Yes, we hung out, but I don't want you to misunderstand the situation."
His explanation was met with a cold scoff.
"I don't care what happened between the two of you. I don't care if you were just acting or actually dating. I'm not a petty woman, but what I demand is absolute loyalty.
You know exactly how much my husband's cheating has hurt and infuriated me. Since you're spending time with other women, there's no place for you by my side anymore. We've been together for years, so I won't make this ugly, but I'm taking back the apartment and the motorcycle. Do you understand?"
Dorian understood perfectly. He reached into his pocket, pulled out the keys to the bike and the apartment, and set them quietly on the table.
He took nothing with him. He didn't even pack his clothes. Felicia watched his retreating back, her gaze slowly hardening into something vicious.
The moment Dorian left, two bodyguards stepped into the room. Felicia whispered some orders, and the men immediately followed Dorian outside.
Just as they were about to catch up to him, one of the bodyguards' phones rang. It was Felicia.
"Forget it. Come back. From now on, no one is to cause trouble for Dorian. But he's no longer my concern. Let him fend for himself."
Felicia had decided to completely cut him loose.
Now, Dorian wandered the streets like a ghost without a tether. He had no idea where to go. He just drifted along the pavement until his phone rang. It was Leonie. The sound of her voice finally snapped him out of his daze.
"Dorian, where are you? I've been looking for you."
Hearing her voice, Dorian felt a sudden, inexplicable urge to cry.
"I'm just standing on the side of the road, waiting for a car. I don't even know where I'm going."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Perfect Wife's Perfect Revenge
I can’t even read this sickening story anymore, this couple didn’t even get a chance to be really happy before their marriage was torn apart. It had been dragged out long enough....
If Gwyn gets an abortion I am going to stop reading this story, I believe in pro-choice but come on. Why can't he just tell her what he is really doing with Patti instead of letting her think she is a mistress....
Why no updates? It’s been so long! Pls update....
