155 Chapter 155 She Is All Yours
Blanche’s POV 1
The moment I got the address from Amara, I shot back a quick text: “Got it. Keep watching. I’m on my way.”
I didn’t waste time drying my hair. I grabbed whatever clothes were nearby, threw them on, and bolted out the door.
The drive took a while.
Amara caught sight of my car and rushed outside to greet me.
We headed into the restaurant together, and she gestured toward a private dining room marked “Lucky Garden.” “Amber’s inside,” she
told me.
I rapped on the door, and a gruff male voice responded, “We don’t need any more food.”
Right after he spoke, I caught Drew’s voice. “Nathan, she’s wasted. Go ahead, she’s all yours. Opportunities like this are priceless. Don’t
waste such a perfect chance.”
Another man answered, “Alright, I’ll handle her.”
The words hit me like ice water. I knew exactly what was going down. Rage exploded in my chest, and I slammed my foot into the door.
The door burst open, and everyone inside flinched, their eyes darting to the doorway with pure shock written across their faces.
I spotted Amber slumped over the table, and the man nearest to her was stretching his hand toward her.
Two men sat in the room–Drew and some guy I’d never seen before.
The man reaching for Amber scowled when I crashed in. “What the hell do you think you’re doing? You have a death wish?” he snarled.
I’d come ready for trouble. The knife in my hand felt reassuring.
I fixed him with a cold stare, my voice cutting through the tension. “Get your hands away from Amber.”
His eyes swept over me with disgusting interest, his gaze making my skin crawl.
Drew’s face twisted with anger. “Blanche, you’re not just shameless. You really have no idea where you stand, do you?”
I ignored him completely. I swept a plate off the table with a crash and fired back, “Drew, drop that arrogant act. You got Amber drunk
and tried to serve her up. Did you honestly think I’d stand by and watch?”
Amara stepped through the doorway and positioned herself next to me. “We already contacted the police. If you have something to say,
tell it to them.”
Drew and his companion went white as sheets, looking like they’d seen death itself.
They exchanged a meaningful look, then stood and moved toward the exit.
As Drew brushed past me, he shot me a look full of poison. The other guy just smiled and said, “Fascinating.”

After they left, Amara and I got Amber on her feet and guided her outside.
Once Blanche and her companions drove away, two shadows remained in the darkness–Drew and the man who had been reaching for
Amber.
The crisp autumn air surrounded them as they both lit cigarettes, smoking in contemplative silence.
Drew glanced at his companion, a cunning smile playing on his lips. “Too bad. Seems like tonight wasn’t your lucky night.”
The man paid no attention to the remark, his gaze tracking Blanche’s car until it vanished from sight. “So that’s Joanna’s competition, is
it?”
Drew raised an eyebrow. “That’s her.”
Nathan Vins was Joanna Vins’s elder brother.
Drew assisted Nathan with business ventures, primarily because of his relationship with Joanna. Over time, the two men had grown
closer.
When Nathan heard Drew’s confirmation, genuine surprise crossed his features. “She’s got backbone, I’ll admit that. And honestly, she’s
every bit as attractive as Amber.”
Drew took a moment before responding, “Sure, she’s easy on the eyes, but she’s pig–headed. No matter what happens, she refuses to
walk away from Zain.”
Nathan laughed. “Zain is one of a kind. When you land a man like that, you hold on tight.”
The moment he spoke, Nathan recognized his words could apply beyond just Blanche.
He went quiet, then his expression hardened. “But she crossed me tonight and she’s trying to steal Joanna’s man. She’s asking for
trouble.
Drew drew deeply on his cigarette before answering with casual indifference, “I didn’t catch any of that.”
His message was crystal clear. He was giving Nathan complete freedom to act.
On the drive back to the Callum Mansion, Amara took the wheel while I sat in the back with Amber’s head resting on my lap.
Amber kept flailing her arms and muttering incoherently throughout the trip, throwing out random fragments of conversation.
“Mr. Stewart, Stewart Group has conducted all its transactions through our financial platform for years. We’ve never had any issues. Our
technology is reliable, so please don’t abandon us,” she mumbled.
“Mr. Stewart, you can’t be serious. I have a husband, I’m married. I’m not worthy of being your maid, much less sharing your bed,” she
whispered.
“Mr. Vins, if I offended you somehow, please just say so. I’ll make it right,” she begged.
Amber continued her drunken rambling, and I gradually pieced together the real situation from her scattered words.

The Callum Family operated in finance. They earned their living partnering with major corporations, and without those contracts, the business would collapse.
But Drew, who had always been their primary partner, abandoned them without warning, plunging the company into turmoil.
In desperation, Amber had approached Drew directly for assistance.
I was certain Amber had probably begged and pleaded, but I knew Drew was just playing games.
Amber had sacrificed so much for this family.
She’d walked into that dinner alone, with no thought for her own wellbeing, clinging to the slimmest chance of salvaging the situation.
I couldn’t stop myself. My vision blurred and tears began streaming down my cheeks.
When we got Amber to her bedroom, I never moved from her side, maintaining my vigil.
I cleaned her hands, washed her face, and helped her into clean clothing.
Amber was sick twice, and afterward, she finally drifted off to sleep.
I remained in the room, standing guard. It wasn’t until deep into the night that Amber began stirring awake.
The first thing Amber did when consciousness returned was frantically pat down her body, checking herself over.
When she discovered her clothes had been changed, she instinctively struck herself, panic overwhelming her senses.
I heard the sound and caught her hand.
“Relax. It was me. I changed your clothes. You’re okay.”
Hearing my voice, Amber finally released a shuddering breath, her racing heart beginning to calm.
I pulled Amber into my arms, feeling her body shake. I spoke softly to comfort her, “Don’t be ridiculous.”
Amber whispered, “I watch your brother killing himself with work every day, barely getting any sleep, and I just wanted to take some of the burden off him.”
Tears filled my eyes as I responded, emotion thick in my voice, “The Callum Family is incredibly lucky to have you.”
Amber still looked defeated. “It’s just… I didn’t accomplish anything, and I nearly made everything worse.”
I rubbed Amber’s back gently. “What matters is that you’re safe. Everything else is secondary. Whether we’re wealthy or struggling, we make it work. As long as our family stays united, we’ll always find a solution.”
Amber felt somewhat better, but when Quinton crossed her mind, worry returned to her face, “Whatever happens, you cannot tell your brother about tonight. If Quinton discovers this, he’ll never let it go.”
I understood the gravity of the situation and gave Amber my word that I wouldn’t breathe a word.
The following evening, after checking on Oswald at the hospital, Zain and I departed together.

As we exited the hospital, I paused briefly before finding my voice. “There’s something I need to discuss with you.”
Zain turned his attention to me. “What is it?”
I decided to be direct with him. “Would you consider routing your company’s transactions through my brother’s financial platform?”
