I caught Vincent’s meaning and stayed silent.

Since Vincent wouldn’t back down, I finally let him

drive me home.

Vincent dropped me off at the Callum Mansion before heading out.

The house felt empty when I walked in–Quinton and the rest of my family were out somewhere. Only the staff moved around, keeping busy with their daily
