It rang for a long time before someone picked up. Against a backdrop of loud noise, Zeus's voice sounded profoundly annoyed. "Josiah? What do you want? I'm busy right now..."

"Busy?" Josiah hissed through clenched teeth, his fury radiating through the phone. "Dad is fighting for his life in the ER, and you're busy?"

The line went dead silent for a beat. Then, Zeus's voice spiked in shock and disbelief.
