**Chapter 9**
**Sebastian’s POV**
**Party Time**
A whirlwind of nerves swirls in my stomach as I stand here, acutely aware of my mate’s presence nearby. The air feels electric, charged with anticipation, and I can hardly contain my excitement.
“I can’t wait to meet her,” I declare, glancing over at my closest friends, Tristan and Paxton, who stand beside me, their faces reflecting the same mix of eagerness and anxiety that I feel.
Tristan nods enthusiastically, his eyes sparkling. “Yeah man, I know exactly what you mean. I can feel my mate’s presence too. It’s like a magnetic pull, right?”
Paxton adds, his voice laced with excitement, “This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. We’ve talked about it for so long, and now it’s finally happening!”
We made a solemn vow long ago, a pact to save ourselves for our destined mates—not all of us can be like Cassian, who seems to charm every woman he meets. Honestly, I can’t help but feel sorry for whoever ends up as his mate. It might even be my scandalous sister, Selene. The thought makes me chuckle; they would indeed make a perfect match in their chaotic way. I love my sister dearly, but she’s nothing like Skyla, who embodies grace and warmth.
I glance around the ballroom, taking in the sight of my friends. Tristan has his arm wrapped around Veronica, their expressions mirroring the blissful excitement we all feel. Meanwhile, Paxton is lost in a passionate kiss with Eliza, completely oblivious to the rest of the world.
Then my gaze shifts to Savannah, standing proudly beside her mate. Savannah, the eldest child of Alpha Mason, is destined to become the future Alpha herself. Her mate hails from a neighboring pack, and together they’ve decided to merge their strengths rather than abandon their responsibilities.
A wave of happiness washes over me. My best friends have found their mates—the future Beta female and Gamma female—and I’ve found my beautiful Luna. In this moment, surrounded by love and companionship, I realize that our futures are intertwined in ways we never imagined.
