Chapter 967 Pregnancy
Victor didn’t speak, just glared at Percy icily. Percy: “Don’t look at me like that. It’s not a tumor.”
“Then what is it?”
Finished
“It’s a pregnancy. There’s no equipment on this plane. You should go to a hospital for a check–up once you get to Falvaria.”
He had been rushed in here to take a look, but they hadn’t even told him what he was looking for. He had nothing on hand right now, not even a test strip.
Tessa: “What did you say?”
Tessa was completely stunned to hear Percy say she might be pregnant. Victor, beside her, was equally petrified.
Lewis processed it for a second, then burst out laughing
Victor: “…”
His face ashen, he shot Lewis a look, once again wondering how he had tolerated this guy for so many years.
Lewis was genuinely trying to hold it in, but he just couldn’t. Besides, holding back laughter wasn’t his strong suit. He couldn’t take it!
“Pregnancy! Hahaha! A tumor! How did you even connect those two? Hahaha!”
Silas: “Stop laughing.”
He was genuinely afraid Lewis was about to get hit.
Lewis just couldn’t help himself. “This is killing me! Hahaha! A tumor! A tumor! Hahaha!”
It was just too‘ hilarious. Lewis couldn’t stop.
Victor: “…”
Tessa’s mouth twitched. She looked at Victor, then back at Percy. “You said, pregnancy?”
Percy: “How long has it been since your last period?”
“A long time.”
It has been a long time, now that she thought about it. With everything that had been happening at Ashen Pact lately, she hadn’t paid any attention.
Now that Percy had reminded her, she finally recalled that, yes, it had been a very long time since her last
one.
Could she… really be pregnant?
A child with Victor?
Percy: “Have you been eating a lot lately? More than usual?”

Tessa nodded blankly. If they were talking about eating she really had been eating a lot lately. She’d even gained weight.
Every morning, she’d get on the scale, see she was heavier, and get incredibly annoyed, thinking she needed to diet. But she just couldn’t help herself.
She’d cat and get sleepy, then wake up and want to cat. She’d started to suspect she was just letting herself go. Especially every time she couldn’t resist the urge to eat, she wanted to slap herself.
And it turned out it was because…?
Tessa subconsciously glanced at her stomach and felt that spot again.
Percy: “Gently.”
“Oh. Can I break it by pressing?”
Percy: “It’s not that fragile, but you can’t be rough with it
Tessa: “…”
She didn’t mean to be rough. She just thought it was amazing. This little ping–pong ball thing… was a baby? “Is this what a baby looks like?”
Percy: “Some people can feel it in the early stages. But you really do need to get a check–up at a hospital.” No matter what, they needed a proper examination before confirming anything. Percy wouldn’t have made such a declaration if they hadn’t been so insistent on it being a tumor. He was mainly worried they’d scare themselves sick on the way to Falvaria.
Tessa and Victor completely ignored this last part.
The two of them were busy taking turns touching her stomach.
Tessa: “It’s amazing, isn’t it?”
Victor nodded. “Mhm, very amazing.”
Tessa: “Why is the baby shaped like this? It’s so round.”
Victor: “Percy said it’s just a ball at the start.”
Percy, Lewis, Silas: “…”
Hello, they were still in the room. Did those two have to be like this?
She giggled as he touched her. “Gently, don’t knock it off”
Percy: “You really can’t play with it.”
Lewis, Silas: “…” They were… playing with it? Were these two parents a little too unreliable? They were genuinely worried this flighty pair would knock the baby loose.
Victor looked back at them. “Get out.”
