The Scorned Heiress's Hidden Empire (by Jade Quinn) novel Chapter 113

Chapter 113

Mitchell Manor.

Dining Room.

“What?!!” Charlotte blurted out.

“Natalie is the author you five brothers are all crazy about?!”

Charlotte’s shocked eyes darted across her five sons, finally landing on Natalie, who was just quietly eating as if nothing had happened.

Even though she’d never read the book herself, Charlotte had seen countless posts about Daybreak all over the internet.

People called it “the pinnacle of suspense and mystery,” “top of the charts for three years straight,” and “millions of fans stay up all night waiting for updates.”

She’d even thought to herself that whoever wrote something like that had to be someone with a wealth of experience and a deep, complex mind.

But who would’ve thought?

It turned out to be her precious daughter!

Natalie slowly picked up a piece of food with her fork and placed it on Charlotte’s plate, then looked up at her.

“Mm–hmm,” Natalie replied.

William Mitchell was amazed, a big smile spreading across his face as he looked at Natalie.

“Sweetheart, did you really write that book?” William asked, still in disbelief.

Natalie nodded patiently once more.

William took a deep breath, his pride practically overflowing.

“Good! Good! Good!” he exclaimed, repeating it three times.

He raised his glass and took a hearty drink.

“My daughter, you’re incredible!” William said, beaming.

Charlotte gave him a gentle pat.

“Go easy on the drinks,” she said.

William waved her off with a smile.

“I’m just so happy! Today’s a great day!” he replied.

Chapter 113

Ryan Mitchell cleared his throat, feeling unexpectedly nervous as he spoke to his little sister

“Hey, Natalie… how did you even come up with all that for your book?

“I mean, the plot twists, the foreshadowing, the characters… it’s seriously amazing!” Ryan said, still in awe

Natalie took a sip of her juice.

“Honestly, I was just bored in class and scribbled it out for fun,” Natalie said, totally unfazed.

‘She just scribbled it out for fun?!‘ the five brothers all thought, completely stunned.

The five brothers fell silent at the same time.

A book with such mind–blowing twists and logic… and it was actually their little sister who wrote it just

because she was bored in class?!

Oh my god!

They all turned to look at Natalie, who was still totally calm, their eyes practically overflowing with admiration and awe.

Jason Mitchell couldn’t take it anymore. The hook at the end of yesterday’s two chapters had been gnawing at him, and he just couldn’t stop thinking about it.

“Natalie… who is that guy in black, really? It’s been bugging me for days!” Jason blurted out.

Natalie glanced at him. “I really have no idea.”

Jason Mitchell paused, thinking she just didn’t want to give any spoilers. “I swear I won’t tell a soul, just tell me, please! I mean it!”

Natalie sighed helplessly. “I really have no idea!”

“You don’t know? But you’re the one who wrote it!” Jason Mitchell blurted out, totally baffled.

“Yeah,” Natalie replied, sounding completely unfazed.

Ethan Mitchell couldn’t help but get curious, since the author was sitting right next to him.

“So, what was up with that twist in the earlier chapter with the red piano?” Ethan asked.

Natalie thought for a moment. “I haven’t gotten to that part yet.”

Ethan was silent as hell.

Jason was at a loss for words.

The other three brothers were speechless.

Blake Mitchell pushed up his glasses, a rare look of confusion crossing his face.

“Natalic, are you saying… you don’t have an outline?” Blake asked.

Natalie nodded.

“Nope,” she replied.

Andrew Mitchell raised an eyebrow, curiosity written all over his face. “Do you have any chapters stockpiled?”

Natalie glanced at them. “Nope, not a single one.”

Ryan Mitchell cleared his throat.

“So when you’re writing, how do you know what comes next?” he asked, genuinely curious.
