212 éves were fixed on Natalie, a wide, confident smile lighting up his face.

The people nearby were momentarily stunned. He radiated such vibrant energy and healthy charm, it was like he brought the whole place to life!

“Natalie! It’s really you! I haven’t seen you in two months!” Evan called out, his voice brimming with excitement.

Natalie, Ryan, and Lucas all turned to Evan, surprised. “Why are you here?” they asked together.

Evan sat down, grabbed the ice water Ryan had bought, and took a big gulp.

“I’m moving in today! The whole campus has been buzzing about this stunning girl, and of course, I knew it had to be you, Natalie. So I came straight over!” Evan said, grinning from ear to ear.

Ryan was getting a headache. ‘Why did he have to show up, too? Can’t I catch a break?

‘Isn’t Lucas enough of a rival? Now I have to deal with another one?‘

“Get lost, we don’t hang out with people who only got in thanks to their family connections!” Ryan said, shoving Evan with a look of pure disdain.

Ryan shot Evan a disgusted glare as he pushed him away.

Evan stayed put, not moving an inch. “Come on, Ryan, that’s not cool! I got in with my own skills. I’m literally the top scorer nationwide in the sports exam!”

Ryan tried pushing Evan twice, but the guy wouldn’t move an inch. So Ryan just decided to leave him alone.

Evan turned to Natalie, his eyes full of curiosity. “Where have you been these past two months? I couldn’t find you anywhere!”

Natalie took a sip of her juice, then said casually, “I went to visit my uncle.”

“Oh, I see!” Evan replied, nodding.

The crowd around the pavilion just kept growing.

“How does this girl even know Evan, the Hale family’s heir?”

They all got up and followed Natalie as she headed out, with Ryan eagerly popping open the umbrella and making sure she stayed cool under the shade.
