Chapter 319 Are V. At Clip
Chapter 219 Are You Tired Of Living?
Suddenly, the door to the tiered conference room swung open
The sound of the hinges cut through the noise, and the whole mom instantly fell silent as everyone turned to stare at the
entrance
Natalie stood in the doorway, dressed in a loose mint green jacket, dark high waisted denim shorts that showed off her long, straight legs, and matching mint green sneakers.
Her steek hair draped over her chest, and her sharp, almond eyes carried a lazy, careless smile.
Sunlight streamed in from behind her, bathing her in a golden glow, like she’d just walked out of a painting. Everyone was mesmerized
Her face was calm, her eyes steady and confident as she strode in with her hands shoved in her pockets.
The instant Emma laid eyes on her, her blood froze. She was so pale, not even makeup could cover it up.
Natalie walked up to the podium and came to a halt right in front of Emma, blocking her view.
All eyes were glued to her as she slowly lifted her gaze and spoke in a calm, anhurried voice, “Excuse me, miss. Just curious, how long would someone get for hiring a thug to hurt someone and attempted disfigurement?”
Emma’s face was so pale it was almost ghostly. Her lips trembled, her hands shook, and she could barely stand.
She opened her mouth, her voice shrill and hoarse, as if she was desperately clinging to the last shred of courage she had
left.
“Natalie, you did this, didn’t you? These screenshots are fake, aren’t they? You’re framing me!”
Natalie gave her an innocent blink. “Do we even know each other? Isn’t this the first time we’ve met?”
Emma was completely stumped, and Natalie just watched her with a relaxed, almost amused look, not rushing her at all. Emma’s neck flushed bright red as she finally managed to defend herself. “Of course I know you. You’re the school beauty and the SAT top scorer. Who doesn’t know you?
“I was just freaking out. I had no idea who was framing me, and since you happened to ask, I thought it was you.” Natalie crossed her arms and nodded knowingly. “Alright, but you still haven’t answered me. How long would someone get for ordering someone to hurt another person and attempted sexual assault?”
Emma’s nails dug into her palms, the pain made her
sweat bullets, but she tried to keep it together.
“Sorry, if you have any questions, ask me after the lecture. Right now, I need to finish my speech,” she said.
She stared right back at Natalie, thinking, ‘Why should I be scared of some wannabe rich girl who got booted from her family?’
She didn’t have any real evidence anyway. As long as she kept denying it and let her dad take care of things, she’d be safe. She had just managed to steady herself when a furious male voice suddenly shouted from the doorway.
“Are you freaking insane? Do you have a death wish?”
Ryan stormed in from the entrance. He’d been standing outside, listening, wondering what Natalie meant by “settling the
score.”
But the more he listened, the more wrong it sounded. When he saw what was on the big screen, everything clicked. Evan, just as furious, rushed in right behind Ryan.
Ryan’s eyes were bloodshot with rage as he stormed straight up to Emma on the stage. He raised his hand and slapped her so hard that she was knocked clean off her feet and crashed to the floor.
The sharp, resounding smack left everyone in the room frozen in shock.
Emma landed hard beside the podium, blood seeping from the corner of her mouth. She clutched her face, staring at Ryan in utter disbelief.
She’d always thought he was just some easygoing rich kid, never in her wildest dreams did she think he’d actually hit her, and in front of all the school administrators, professors, and hundreds of students, no less.
“Ryan! You-”

r of her white shirt.
Ryan didn’t give her a chance to speak. He was like a crazed beast, eyes red with fury, shaking uncontrollably as he raised his fist, about to bring it down on her.

to wild, and
Emma, cared out of her mind, threw her arms over her head. Just as Pyan’s fist was about to come down, Natalie stepped in and stopped him.
She grabbed Ryan’s wrist, holding him back without moving an inch.
Natalie looked at Ryan softly. “Don’t dirty your hands with someone like her”
Ryan’s chest was heaving, but when he met Natalie’s eyes, he finally calmed down.
He gave Emma a resentful glare, then reluctantly pulled his hand back.
Emma breathed a sigh of relief, figuring Natalie only stepped in out of fear.
After all, she was the Archer family’s princess, while Natalie was just a wannabe rich girl who got booted from her family Ryan had the Mitchell family behind him, and the Mitchells would never let Ryan end up with someone like Natalie. “Somebody, help! Are you just going to stand there and watch him hit me?” Emma screamed.
The teachers in the audience were about to step in, but when they caught the principal’s warning look, they stopped and quietly sat back down.
The principal thought, ‘Just watch and stay out of it. If we get involved, we’ll all be in trouble.
Those guys are from the Mitchell family. They’re untouchable.’
Natalie stepped forward, her gaze cool and almost contemptuous as she looked down at Emma.
“I’m really curious. Where does all this hostility toward me come from? First you spread rumors about me at the opening ceremony, then you spent 150 thousand dollars to hire someone to corner me?”
Her sharp, almond eyes held no emotion at all, just a calm so cold it sent chills down your spine.
Emma felt a shiver run down her spine under Natalie’s gaze, but she forced herself to get up, gripping the podium for support. She lifted her chin, staring back at Natalie with what she thought was a threatening glare.
“Natalie, you really think Ryan slapping me settles things?
