Jacqueline fought her own nervous feelings as she began to remove her clothing while the three men stared at her with anticipation. The three of them were nearly breathless and still as statues as if any movement might have her pause her movements.

“All I need is some music and this might feel more of a performance than I anticipated. I’m not much of a dancer but I almost expect one of you to throw a couple of bills at me.”

Her words made Bar snicker and he patted his pockets, “sweet lady, if I was carrying cash I’d ask you to create a chair made of ice and give me a lap dance.”

She giggled at his words and then waved her hands, “I’m feeling very shy and you three are standing there with all your clothes on and I’m down to my bra and pants.”

Bar ripped his shirt over his head and tossed it aside and she

Wilder.”

“Damn right I am.” He tugged his shirt over his head as if in competition with Bar.

Bar looked him over and waved at the tattooed torso, “aw cute, you drew on yourself. Is that because you can’t grow chest hair? How are you with a beard? I can grow a beard out in about thirty seconds. Does it take you decades?” He threw his head back and laughed when Wilder flipped him off. “Do you think you should pencil in a moustache?”

Rafferty looked him over as he removed his own shirt, “you’re only jealous you can’t get tattoos because the ink pen would get caught up in all that fur.”

“I could shave it all off if I wanted to, get inked up and then grow my chest hair back out again and you would still only 2/10

“It’s like when you go to dinner with chatty people and you

eat your dinner without engaging in the banter and suddenly you’re the first one done, diving into dessert while the

yapping people are still on appetizers.”

“Are you ready to dive into dessert?” Bar asked as he stood in

front of her naked.

“Yes. Dessert is looking damn delicious,” she grinned at him. and then let her eyes swivel to the twins who were quickly catching up.

“Can I say,” Rafferty commented as he stood proudly nude 3/10

the three men following her into the waist deep water. She

looked at Wilder and Rafferty, “I know it’s cold.”

“It doesn’t bother us,” Rafferty spoke with a shrug. “We prefer

the heat, don’t get me wrong, but unlike humans, we can regulate our bodies.”

“Like lizards?”

The men laughed, “more like fairies.”

She turned to face them. “I know you cannot hear her or see

her, but Mother is here, all around us, in the water. She is

waved between them, “are not meant to be without one

another. You’re going to learn your successes when you work together, in our personal and business lives, are going to be extraordinary. You are two halves of the same soul. You need one another. Use one another. Rely on one another.”

Jacqueline’s voice was taking on a deeper tone, a soothing yet wise quality to her voice. She drew from thin air a blade

and motioned for the men to hold their wrists out while the

little stick insect rose on hind legs on Jacqueline’s shoulder, a

small frozen flower between its front legs.

lifted her wrist to the cup.

She then looked at Bar, “this will move fast. Bar Thorberg,

will you seal your bond of claim with your blessed mate Jacqueline Frost?”

“I will.”

“Bar Thorberg, I Jacqueline Frost will seal the bond of claim with you my blessed mate.”

She watched as the little insect moved carefully down her arm, nearly skidding and hopping over her to land on Wilder’s wrist. Jacqueline recited the incantation direct from her mother’s urging and the flower glowed brightly, shimmering like polished pearls stained with the deep red blood. The insect poured it over Wilder’s incision, then over Rafferty’s and then Jacqueline’s.

The two men both dropped to their knees, now up to their neck in the water as the magic coursed through their veins. Wide–eyed and gasping with a coursing need blazing

through their bodies, Jacqueline turned to Bar who nearly

lunged at her and sunk his teeth deep into her neck just as

the mixed blood of Jacqueline, Wilder and Rafferty reached

the pulse thrumming there. She arched her back, her body

nearly levitating out of the water as his tongue lapped

against her skin to seal the claim and she turned her head

and latched onto his neck with canines of her own.

The roar pulling from his chest was all Orson and Jacqueline knew then the five of them were now bonded for life. A

sizzling need for her mates to touch her seared every inch of her skin and the water bubbled and boiled around them. She let her head fall back, a loud wailing scream erupting from her lungs as power suddenly flowed through her.

“Oh, hell yes,” Bar’s voice growled loudly as he pounded his chest like a beast and began to circle the table. He looked at Wilder and Rafferty, “I hear you in my heads. We are joined as if we are mated the way we are to Jacqueline. I can hear her, I can hear you.”

“We will work in tandem, together, to protect our queen, to please our queen, to love our queen,” Wilder said resolutely.

“We are here to serve you, Queen of Kings and Queens, our mate, our beloved and blessed bride!” Rafferty exclaimed as he moved to the table.

Jacqueline’s hands reached out to touch the men who were now moving in parade around her laying flat on the table.

Bar growled as he leaned over her, “my turn to kiss my mate,” he snarled the words, his lips still red from the blood he’d drawn from her neck and he kissed her hungrily. His teeth. nipped and his tongue licked.
