The Shy Beauty and the Billionaire Beast (Ana and Jaxon) novel Chapter 11

*Ana's pnt of view*

Spending time with Sonya, I got to learn a lot about her. She has been taking care of Jaxon since he was a child, and when his father passed, she became his sole guardian, and now Jaxon is her only family. Stewart came into the picture when Jaxon was attending university, and the bald eagle became part of Jaxon's entourage when his business began to expand, causing the number of Jaxon's enemies to grow.

After my talk with Sonya, I actually felt better.

I ended up spending the rest of my day with Sonya we baked in the kitchen and chatted all over the place.

Just as we pulled out the cookies from the oven, Jaxon walked into the kitchen shirtless.

"Mhm I smell baked treats." He exclaimed. Then he walked over to Sonya and kissed her on the head, as he grabbed a napkin and took five cookies all for himself.

I stared with my mouth open as he grabbed another five with his other hand, then winked at me as he walked out.

Sonya who noticed the exchange made no comments, but the mischievous glint that suddenly enlightened her eyes did not go unnoticed. After that interesting moment, I decided to go up to my room for a much deserved nap.

I found myself being awoken by Stewart's lips on mine.

Shocked by his intrusion, I gasped and pushed him away.

"What are you doing?!" I said as he tried to kiss me again.

"Going to second base before Jaxon does." He declared as he pinned me down with his elbow to the base of my neck, while his other hand began to work on pulling down my gym joggers.

"Get off! Get off of me!" I yelled and struggled but he only smiled, as he continued his task.

"Stewart stop!" I begged, as I tried to kick my legs, but it was to no avail, he straddled me, and even with an injured knee, he was still stronger than me.

I tried to pry his arm off me, as I screamed "HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME!"
Then my screams turned into a cry of pain, as the back of his hand met with my cheek harshly, just as one of his fingers entered me.

The pain was excruciating. I had never been touched down there, unless it was me experiencing on myself, and that did not happen often.

"NO! OH GOD! SOMEONE HELP!" I yelled before another slap landed on my face, causing my lip to cut open.

"SHUT UP! DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DIDN'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN! NOT BY THE WAY YOU HAVE BEEN SO NICE AND SWEET TO ME!" Raged Stewart, as he forced his finger deeper into me, causing cries to run out of my throat, and for my vision to blur up with ravines of tears.

"Help! Someone... please!" I tried one last time, my strength fading, as I found myself slipping from consciousness.

"I don't think Ana appreciates you invading her personal space." said Jaxon suddenly, as the bald eagle swiftly appeared behind Stewart, placing a knife around his throat.

"Get the hell away from her." Warned Jaxon in a death note.

Stewart lifted his hands in show of surrender, but I was so numb I couldn't even move to cover myself up.

The bald eagle didn't spare me a glance, as he escorted Stewart out, with the knife still under his neck.

"Oh Ana!" Exclaimed Sonya as she barged pass Jaxon and covered me up. Jaxon left without a word.

"Oh you poor child." She cooed, as she hugged me, then just like that I broke down.

I cried on and on, as Sonya held me in her arms and rocked me side to side. My tears and sobs caused a headache to ring around my head, as I decided that I didn't want to stay in this place any longer. So I freed myself of Sonya's hold, and went straight to see Jaxon. He was on the phone when I went to his office, but the minute he saw me, he hung up.

"I want to go home." I stated crossing my arms.

"Not happening princess." He said, as he began to look at a paper in his hand.

"Why not? Its not safe for me here. I want to go." I argued.

"No can do."

"So you want me to stay here?  Why? Especially after what just happened" I stated, throwing my hands up.

"For my own selfish reasons!" He exclaimed, staring me down.

"You’re such a selfish bastard!" I repeated his words.

"Yes well I'm glad we agreed on that. If that was all-"

"No that wasn't all! I want to go home Jaxon! I don't wanna be here anymore, especially when you can't be nice without someone thinking that you want something more." I cut him off. My anger boiling in my veins.

I placed a hand on my forehead as I rushed my feet to the bathroom.

This was not happening to me.

When I came back, Jaxon's eyes were closed.

"Jaxon? Jaxon?!" I said frantic.

"What?" He said as if I was bothering him.

"You idiot! Don't scare me like that." I stated frustrated, as I did something I never thought I would.

I looked up "how to remove a bullet from a shoulder" on YouTube and began to follow through with the easiest video I could find. Throughout the entire ordeal, neither of us spoke. It wasn't until I began his stitches did we start talking again.

"You did good." He said glancing down on his shoulder.

"I'm not talking to you. You have hurt my feelings too many times for me to be even helping you." I said focusing on my task.

"Its not like what I said wasn't true." He said shrugging his left shoulder.

"Yet a simple sorry wouldn't hurt you." I said in a frank tone.

"There's nothing to apologize for." He claimed, and I scoffed.

"Are you such a stuck-up bastard that you can't even say 'I'm sorry?'" I asked as I pulled hard on one of the stitches.
Jaxon grunted, and though I felt a twinge of guilt, I decided to let it go.

His eyes suddenly turned to me as he said, "careful there princess, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you're deliberately being rough."

I felt the urge to pull on his stitches again, but I decided against it, instead I sighed and slumped my shoulders as the weight of today's events came crashing on my shoulders.

I shook my head as I felt tears prick mg eyes, but instead I quickly cleaned up his wound, dressed it, then picked up the trash and threw it out, then I placed the kit back.
Once I came back, Jaxon was fast asleep, so I quietly left and headed for my room, with heavy shoulders.

"Thank you." Said Sonya as she passed me in the hallway, and with a simple smile, I passed her by and headed to my room, where on my bed, I cried until I fell asleep.
