If Vivian had harbored even the tiniest shred of hope for Dominic before, looking at the middle-aged man standing squarely against her now finally snuffed out that last dying ember. All that remained was cold indifference.

"Go ahead."

She dug her nails into her palms. "Call the cops then."

She would love to see what fabricated evidence Amara could possibly hand over to the police!

Dominic's face turned a violent shade of purple, the muscles in his jaw twitching visibly. He never imagined that his daughter, who was already rebellious on a good day, was capable of doing something so downright evil!

With shaking hands, he pulled out his phone.

"Fine... Just watch me!"

Just as the emergency numbers faded onto the screen, Amara's eyes flickered. She threw herself at him, crying frantically as she grabbed his arm. "Dad, no... Vivian definitely didn't do it on purpose. Please don't hold it against her... Vivian, hurry up and apologize to Dad!"

Watching the ridiculous spectacle unfold, Vivian found the entire display deeply laughable.
