The Stand-In Who Burned the Script novel Chapter 365

Silas remained silent but opened his eyes. His deep, profound gaze seemed to swirl with unreadable emotions.

The conditions in the ambulance were limited, so they could only perform basic first aid.

Once they arrived at the hospital, the wound was thoroughly cleaned and bandaged.

Despite the severe blood loss, Silas remarkably retained his composure. He commanded in a low, authoritative tone, "Hurry it up. Once you're done, get out."

"Yes, sir."

The doctors and nurses all knew he was no ordinary patient and didn't dare dawdle.

The gash was long and deep, requiring twelve stitches.

Ten minutes later.

The only people left in the hospital room were Vivian, Silas, and Simon, who was delivering his report.

"The guy's lips are sealed tight, but we've basically pieced it all together. The Fowler family sent him to completely ruin Miss Fairchild..."

At that point, Simon stole a glance at Vivian's face. To his amazement, she looked entirely unbothered, wearing the exact same impassive expression as his boss.

No wonder these two were married.

The ability to stay this utterly unfazed while the world burned around them was not something ordinary people possessed.

"So, Harrison Fowler must be completely destroyed by now."

Vivian actually smiled. "Good."

At least he couldn't terrorize anyone else now.

Silas's dark gaze drifted toward her. Was this woman truly fearless, or just entirely oblivious?

He frowned, turning back to instruct Simon. "Compile all the evidence and hand it over to the police. Demand they prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. Hiring a hitman and attempted assault... the mastermind behind this is clearly begging for an eight-to-ten-year vacation in a cell. Give him what he wants."

Simon nodded. "Understood."

He pressed his lips together before speaking again.

"However, Harrison Fowler probably isn't the mastermind behind this. He's currently lying in the ICU. The most likely culprit... is his father, Richard Fowler."

Vivian's eyes widened. "Didn't he just get out of the hospital? Why is he back in?"

"Someone beat him to a pulp again. It's pretty severe."
