The Stand-In Who Burned the Script novel Chapter 507

"Boss."

"Yeah. How's it looking?"

"Very smooth."

Zoe handed over a stack of documents. "We hired a specialized screenwriter for the script, and the video footage is all shot on location. I think the final result is going to be fantastic."

"Since the approval documents came through, we might as well shoot and broadcast simultaneously."

Vivian flipped through the pages, found no issues, and handed them back.

"Any news on The Stella Pendant?"

"Not yet... unfortunately."

Zoe saw the fleeting disappointment in Vivian's eyes and quickly added, "But I thought of a great idea. Why don't we send out invitations to renowned collectors? It's a great opportunity for exposure, and I feel like it could actually work."

Vivian fell silent for a moment. "Forget it."

She turned to look at the set.

People at their respective stations were bustling around, and the sight was oddly moving.

"This program isn't entirely about The Stella Pendant. If it hasn't shown up yet, maybe it's just not meant to be right now." Vivian offered Zoe a small smile. "As long as Amara and her mother don't have it, I don't care who's collecting it."

Zoe didn't know what to say to comfort her. She only knew that The Stella Pendant was the sole piece of jewelry Sylvia had left behind, the only thing Vivian had to remember her mother by.

Vivian stayed for two hours before leaving to head back to the office.

As soon as she got downstairs, she ran into Jonah.

He looked different today, dressed in a surprisingly pristine white suit without a tie, paired with a light blue dress shirt that gave him a clean, elegant look.

"Is Mr. Granger changing his style?"

Jonah's deep gaze settled on her.

He smiled. "Do you like it?"

"Are you out of your mind? Why would you ask me something like that?"
