The Stolen Heiress: The Billionaires’ Little Star novel Chapter 44

"We're busy. Excuse us." Quinn coldly rolled up the window.

Daisy, however, lingered on the man for a second longer.

The businessman's eyes instantly lit up. He knew exactly who to target next!

Stepping back, he watched the Maybach drive off before pulling out his phone to frantically search the internet for whatever reality show was currently filming in town.

He quickly discovered the little girl's name was Daisy Lowell.

If the young Hawthorne heir was personally escorting her to sell vegetables, her influence over him was undeniable.

Next time, he would pitch to her!

Inside the car, Daisy cheered excitedly, "Let's count the money!"

"Do you know how?" Quinn asked.

Daisy nodded vigorously.

Quinn actually felt a twinge of disappointment. He had been hoping she would have to beg him for help.

Daisy tallied up the cash in one go just as the car pulled up to the entrance of Oakridge General Hospital.

The moment the crew announced they had arrived, she stuffed the thick wad of bills into her canvas tote and sprinted out of the car.

Daisy was incredibly sharp. She just asked the front desk where the camera crews were stationed and easily tracked down the right room.

Standing outside the door, she pushed it open cautiously.

"Xavier, Mr. Sterling and I bought this for you," Chloe said, her voice dripping with artificial sweetness as she leaned over the hospital bed.

Daisy froze in the doorway.

So, he had a sister of his own.

Xavier shifted his gaze and caught sight of her. For a split second, he genuinely thought his mind was playing tricks on him.

But his body reacted faster than his brain.

He vaulted off the hospital bed.

"Xavier, what's wrong?" Chloe asked in confusion.
