Summary for Chapter 374: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Milo thought for a moment before handing his phone and laptop over to her.

She opened his laptop.

The wallpaper was a photo of the two of them together. Bianca paused for a second, realizing just how deeply he carried her in his heart.

Upon opening the backend, a sea of glaring red warning text filled the screen.

[Cluster Computing Resources Exhausted]

[All Allocation Nodes Overloaded]

[Partitions 1-8 Offline]

Bianca inhaled sharply. This was not going to be an easy fix.

Through the video call with Chase, the piercing sound of continuous alarm bells blared from Joyride's operations room.

Rows of monitors displayed frantic, violently fluctuating data streams.

The lead operations engineer was dripping with cold sweat, his fingers flying across the keyboard as he executed restart commands over and over.

But every time the system rebooted, it would hold for only a few seconds before the overwhelming swarm of player requests crushed it again.

"Throttle it! Force a traffic throttle right now!" Bianca ordered over the video call.

Chase groaned in despair. "We've already set it to the lowest threshold. It's useless! The user request volume has completely blown past our contingency limit. The computing allocation model is gridlocked, and virtual node distribution is a total mess."

To make matters worse, news of the server crash was spreading like wildfire.

Twitter was blowing up.

*Hollowfall Launch Crashes!*

*Joyride Games Lacks Competence!*

The entire operations room was sweating bullets, completely helpless against the collapsed cluster.

Bianca watched the monitoring dashboard as the online user count plummeted to zero while error logs refreshed in a frenzied blur.

If this dragged on for another ten or twenty minutes, the hundreds of millions they had burned on marketing would go straight down the drain.

Chase's palms were slick with sweat, and even Milo fully grasped the gravity of the situation.

Bianca, however, remained completely unfazed. To her, this was a minor hiccup.

"Don't panic, either of you," she said calmly. "I'm here, so it's not a big deal."

Her absolute certainty made Milo feel as though an angel had just descended.

She casually grabbed the exposed cluster monitoring port, quickly scanned the bleeding error logs, and raised a brow.

"I'm going to rewrite your underlying computing logic for a cloud expansion. Give me ten minutes," she stated smoothly. "Even if tens of millions of users flood in, it'll hold for at least three hours.

If your supplier still hasn't fixed their end by then, have Stellaride step in for physical hardware expansion.

Milo, call Cillian and have him talk to Elias Donovan over at the branch office.

It's not my place to bypass the chain of command, and Elias might not listen to me anyway."

Her few, composed words instantly anchored the room.
