The True Heiress: Legend Mode novel Chapter 104

The panic that had previously covered the socialite's face vanished without a trace, replaced by a terrifying, chilling sneer.

"Heh. I never thought I'd get tripped up by a little girl this time." Her hand slid silently toward her waist, and suddenly, she whipped out a handgun and aimed it dead at Juno.

"Ah!"

The women in the crowd instinctively covered their mouths, staring in absolute terror.

A gun!!

One wrong move and someone was going to die!!

Babur immediately surged forward. "Juno!"

Gwendolyn desperately grabbed her son. "Don't go over there!"

Babur's eyes were wild with panic.

Juno's slender, pale hand shot out and gripped the barrel of the gun directly, a dark glint flashing in her eyes.

The moment her fingers brushed the metal, she instantly recognized the model.

The weapon's entire schematic materialized in her mind—it was pure instinct.

In a blur of motion, Juno flicked the release catch and completely dismantled the pistol's magazine and slide.

She casually tossed the parts backward, the black slide clattering onto the floor.

The entire sequence was lightning-fast, happening in the blink of an eye.

By the time the socialite realized what had happened, her gun was completely unloaded.

How could a pampered heiress possess such lethal expertise?

The socialite gave the useless piece of scrap metal in her hand a brief glance before lunging forward, trying to smash the butt of the gun against Juno's head.

Juno immediately kicked her hard. The socialite stumbled violently, and as she scrambled to flee, a layer of skin on the side of her cheek began to peel away.

Juno grabbed the edge and ruthlessly tore off the disguise, revealing the woman's true face beneath.

Another wave of gasps rippled through the crowd.

The woman clearly saw the murderous intent ignite in Juno's eyes the second she recognized her real face.

Juno shoved her another inch out the window.

Knowing death was imminent, the woman completely lost her filter, cackling maniacally. "Kill me! It won't bring your sister back! Do you know how many men had their way with her before she died? Twenty! Hahahahaha!!

Oh, and I recorded it all. You wiped the internet clean, but I still have the backups. Want to watch? Your sister was nothing but a dirty slut who'd take anyone!!"

Morgan's heart plummeted. This was bad. The moment anyone brought up her sister, Juno lost all rationality.

Sure enough, Juno's eyes turned terrifyingly bloodshot. With tears welling in her eyes, she violently shoved the woman over the edge.

The crowd let out another hysterical scream.

They couldn't hear what was being said by the window. Why had she suddenly pushed her out?!

Did Juno just commit murder right in front of them?!

Just as the woman thought she was finally getting the sweet release of death, her plummeting body jerked to a violent halt. Juno had caught her by the arm. She looked up at Juno. "Are you really this much of a coward? You come to Kingsland and suddenly forget how to kill?"

The woman was deliberately trying to provoke Juno into finishing the job.

The icy wind whipped against them like razor blades, biting painfully into their skin.
