The True Heiress: Legend Mode novel Chapter 112

"I'd like her even if she smoked a pack of cigars a day," Juno replied smoothly.

With that one sentence, Morgan instantly recognized Juno's fiercely protective nature.

His phone buzzed with a message. After checking it, he reported, "Elara was drugged and taken to the Tengo Hotel."

Juno frowned and immediately rushed to the hotel.

Elara had just woken up, her entire body devoid of strength. She forced herself to sit up and glanced around, realizing she was in a hotel room.

Her heart dropped. The news from six months ago flashed through her mind—when her face had been plastered across every tabloid for alleged scandals, the ruthless comments tearing her apart like daggers.

She had just signed with a new agency, and these people were already coming for her again?!

A chill ran across her skin. She looked down and realized someone had changed her into a set of skimpy, barely-there clothing.

Biting her lip, she grabbed the bedsheets and wrapped herself tightly.

Anticipating what was about to happen, she slipped off the bed. But the moment her long legs touched the floor, her knees gave out.

Panting heavily, she couldn't muster an ounce of strength.

Using every last bit of willpower, she crawled to the door, only to find it locked from the outside. Despair washed over her.

Just then, the door clicked open. A heavy-set man with a greasy face sauntered in, his eyes hungrily scanning her body. Absolutely stunning, he thought.

He scooped Elara off the floor.

A wave of sheer disgust hit her.

"My little beauty, I've been dreaming about this for a long time. Let's not waste any time."

He tossed her onto the bed, his gaze turning even more explicit, practically gleaming with predatory excitement.

"Who put you up to this?!" Elara demanded coldly.

Seeing her stop resisting, the man smirked in satisfaction and reached for his belt.

Downstairs in the hotel lobby, Juno strode in wearing a sharp black trench coat and heavy boots, radiating a chilling aura. Everyone recognized her as the Corrington family's heiress, and the staff maintained perfect smiles.

She walked up to the front desk, took off her sunglasses, and stared with icy eyes. "Give me the keycard for room 3065."

The two receptionists exchanged a nervous glance. "We apologize, Ms. Mercer, but that's a breach of guest privacy. We can't do that."

"I'll take full responsibility if there's an issue."

The receptionist politely declined again. "I'm sorry, we really can't."

Handing it over would get them fired.

"Fine. I'll just go up and kick the door in." Juno turned on her heel and walked off briskly, vanishing in the blink of an eye.

Moving at lightning speed, she reached the third floor, found the room, and delivered a brutal kick to the door.
