The True Heiress: Legend Mode novel Chapter 295

The traction only increased, showing no signs of slowing down.

By this time, the second batch of new products had already gone on sale.

Sitting in his office, Titus Talbot nearly flipped his desk over. "Find someone to suppress that trending topic right now!!"

If he let this escalate any further, the resulting losses would be unimaginable.

The secretary scrambled out to pass on the orders. The entire company was in a state of panic, everyone rushing around frantically.

A moment later, the secretary pushed the office door open again. "Mr. Talbot, the people from LK are here."

"Who?"

Titus asking "who" meant he was hoping it was LK's management. If it was management, it meant there was still room to negotiate the trending topic situation.

But he was thoroughly disappointed.

The secretary's silence said it all. It was the group of employees they had previously tried to poach with lucrative offers.

Titus's head throbbed in waves. Everything really was piling up all at once.

The secretary said bluntly, "I've already called security, but they won't leave."

Clearly, they were determined to see Titus.

Titus grabbed his suit jacket off the back of his chair and strode out of the office.

The two of them took the express elevator straight to the first floor.

The bright, spacious lobby was packed with people.

The moment Titus stepped out, the room fell dead silent.

The crowd didn't move, and the security guards didn't dare back down either, standing firmly in their way.

The man leading the group demanded aggressively, his words ringing out loud and clear, "What is the meaning of this, Mr. Talbot? Why are you keeping us out? Are you just going to use us and throw us away?"

Titus didn't deny it. He stood calmly in front of the elevator. "You're absolutely right. That's exactly what I'm doing."

The people who had traveled all this way after jumping ship from LK looked at each other, momentarily speechless.

Only then did they realize how pathetic they truly were.

They thought Juno had been joking, but her words had been a dark prophecy.

Titus turned back into the elevator and instructed security, "Don't let anything go wrong at a critical time like this. Throw them all out. Don't let them make a scene in the building. If any trouble happens, you're all fired!"

The security guards nodded frantically.

This group from LK had entirely brought this upon themselves.

Inside the elevator, the secretary held a tablet and reported to Titus, "Mr. Talbot, we can't suppress the trending topic. It seems someone is backing it behind the scenes. Throwing money at it isn't working."

Not being able to suppress it was one thing.

But Juno's tactics were as ruthless as they came. LK had publicly exposed every single person who had leaked Jumer's design drafts.

It was killing two birds with one stone.

First, it proved to the public that the drafts were unequivocally stolen, hammering home just how despicable and shameless the Talbot family was.
