Gwendolyn stood up, instinctively giving up her seat.
Juno's long legs drew everyone's attention as she stepped onto the stage and gently pushed Gwendolyn back into another chair.
She casually pulled out the chair next to Gwendolyn and sat down. Crossing her legs and leaning against the backrest, she toyed with the silver ring in her hands while her gaze swept over the faces of the reporters below.
She hadn't said a single word, yet a sudden sense of dread swelled within them.
After surveying the crowd, she turned her attention back to the person who had just asked the question. "What did you just ask? Ask it again."
Holding the microphone, the reporter felt an inexplicable urge to defy her arrogant tone.
He didn't make a sound.
Juno wasn't in a rush either, acting as if she wasn't the one caught in an awkward silence.
A minute passed. The people below would occasionally glance at the reporter. It seemed he was a rookie with a stubborn temper.
Juno stopped spinning her ring, her gaze locking onto the reporter. "Did you lose your tongue?"
The reporter felt stifled. "Shouldn't you adjust your attitude first?"
Juno let out a cold laugh. "What kind of attitude should I have?"
"I'm not asking for reverence, but at least treat us as equals, right?" The reporter frowned, picking apart Juno's behavior.
This was exactly what had been bothering him.
From the moment Juno walked in, sat down, and spoke, every single action screamed superiority.
Was this how children raised in wealthy families acted? So unreasonably arrogant?
