Just as the two bodyguards moved to intervene, Juno let go.

The woman clutched her wrist, the pain excruciating.

It felt as though Juno had been ready to snap her wrist completely in half.

"Stop her!"

The two bodyguards immediately blocked Juno's path again.

"I came here to discuss a partnership with you! What kind of attitude is that?!"

Juno turned back, her calm face entirely devoid of emotion. "You seem to be confused. You are the one begging me for a favor. I am not begging you."

A suffocating lump of humiliation caught in the woman's throat.

Gritting her teeth, she continued, "Fine! I am the CEO of Celadon Holdings. I want to poach you for our company."

At the mention of Celadon Holdings, Juno's expression shifted almost imperceptibly, returning to normal so quickly that no one caught it.

"Not interested."

She turned and walked away.

"What kind of future could you possibly have at a company like the Corringtons'?!"

"A better one than at Celadon," Juno replied without even looking back.

"Do you have any idea who designs for Celadon?! Amanda, the most sought-after designer in the industry right now, started out at our company!"

Juno's footsteps suddenly stopped.

The woman's face lit up. She knew it—no one in the industry could resist the allure of Amanda's name.

Juno turned around, closed the distance in three quick strides, grabbed the woman by her collar, and jerked her close.

Even in her designer heels, the woman's commanding aura entirely disintegrated under Juno's terrifying presence.

"You have the audacity to bring her up? When she was framed for plagiarism, you people played dead and did absolutely nothing. Now you suddenly want to name-drop her?!"

The woman was so terrified by Juno's intensity that she couldn't formulate a single word.
