As the forum allowed people to post anonymously, the comments were even nastier. The thread was blowing up, with new replies popping up every second.

Then she saw another post, this one claiming she was trying to seduce Max. She frowned and clicked on it. There weren’t any photos, just a long, detailed rant. The author accused her of flirting with Max during an interview, saying her eyes and body language made her intentions obvious. They even dragged Max’s daughter into it, claiming she was cozying up to the girl just to get closer to Max. The post sounded so sure of itself, like the writer had been right there in the room.

Her phone buzzed. It was Luke calling.

“Felicia,” he said, his voice tight with worry. “You’ve seen the posts, right?”

“I have. You’re looking into who posted them?”

Felicia didn’t argue. “Thanks, Luke. Let me know what you find.”

“Of course.”

After she hung up, Anthony walked in, looking serious. “Felicia, I’ve already got people working on getting those posts deleted.”

She shook her head. “Don’t bother. Taking them down just makes me look guilty. Let them gossip. I want to see who’s actually behind all this.”

Savannah was furious. “If I find out who did this, I’ll make sure they regret it. Only cowards hide behind anonymous posts and make up this kind of trash.”

Anthony shook his head. “Better if you stay here. Don’t make things harder for Felicia.”

Savannah huffed. “How would I make things harder? What if we need someone to slap her around?”

Anthony laughed. “Haven’t you had enough trouble? Andrea still has Max protecting her.”

He glanced at Felicia, but she looked calm and unbothered, which clearly put him at ease.

Savannah smirked. “So what? Andrea’s nothing special. It’s been five years and Max still hasn’t married her.”

Half an hour later, Jeremy was back at the office.
