After blowing off some steam, Ava stormed back into the bedroom.

Colton was dying to know what had set her off, but he just shrank back like a frightened bird, not daring to say a word.

Ava tossed the phone aside, not even glancing at him.

Colton hurried over, trying to win her over with a shoulder massage. His voice was soft and eager to please. “Babe, I already warmed up the bed. Let’s get in and put Sean to sleep together.”
