The Whole Family Spoils the Reborn Hidden Queen novel Chapter 34

Ms. Sowle really was a lucky charm.

If only she came to the office more often.

Bored, Larissa turned on the computer and put on her headphones. She started playing a

game.

It was a new game her company had just developed. This was a good chance to test it out.

She had been playing for barely ten minutes when an unwelcome visitor showed up.

The person didn’t bother to be polite. She reached out, pulled off Larissa’s headphones, and looked her up and down before scolding her.

Who are you?

What’s your relationship with Mr. Sowle?

This is Mr. Sowle’s office. What right do you have to stay here alone?

There are important documents in here. If something goes missing, can you take responsibility?

Larissa glanced at her. The girl looked barely in her early twenties.

Larissa then noticed the badge on her chest. Just a junior intern secretary, yet she dared to talk to her like this.

Larissa gave a short, mocking laugh. She crossed her arms, her tone sharp and sarcastic. Another bitch. Her father’s taste in hiring an employee was really bad.

Who I am is none of your business.

Why I’m allowed to be here is not something a tiny intern secretary gets to question.

Give my headphones back. If you do that, I’ll let this go.

Unfortunately, the secretary thought she was someone special to Leonard.

Larissa was younger, prettier, and carried herself better.

Jealousy immediately took over.

Let it go? Who do you think you are?

Finishers

I was personally hired by Mr. Sowle. I’m going to be his righthand assistant in the future.

And you? What are you supposed to be? Get out of here now.

Mr. Sowle doesn’t like people hanging around and bothering him while he works.”

As she spoke, she stepped forward and grabbed Larissa’s arm.

She had just come back from the restroom and didn’t know who Larissa really was.

She assumed Larissa was just some young woman Mr. Sowle was keeping on the side. In her mind, Larissa was someone who used her looks to get close to men.

The thought made her look down on Larissa even more.

That was why she dared to treat her this way.

Larissa frowned and shook her hand off coldly.

You’d better know your place. Who do

think you

you are?

I didn’t know an intern had the power to throw guests out.

The secretary stumbled back, furious and embarrassed. She raised her voice.

You dared to touch me? I’m going to tell Mr. Sowle right now and have him throw you out!

Larissa looked at her with open mockery.

I’m really curious. What makes you think you’re different from everyone else? Do you really believe you’re special in Mr. Sowle’s eyes?

As far as I know, Mr. Sowle has a very good relationship with his wife.

The secretary lifted her chin proudly. Of course. I’m hired by Mr. Sowle himself.

Larissa stared at her coldly and sneered.

Stop dreaming. I suggest you see a doctor. Delusions are a real condition, you know. They need treatment.

The secretary snapped back, her words vicious.

Bitch! Don’t act all high and mighty. With a face like that at such a young age, you clearly want to seduce Mr. Sowle. Who knows how many men you’ve already hooked outside? Your parents can’t be decent people either.”
