The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 1262

Sammie looked up and nodded.

“Gian has people waiting at the airport. Arrest warrants have been issued for Harold and Lorie. They’re trapped with nowhere to run.”

Danielle felt the last of her anxiety finally melt away.

She turned to Alexander. “When we get back, we’ll go get Niki.”

Alexander took her hand, his fingers gradually warming hers.

“Okay,” he murmured.

The rest of the flight passed in silence, and the plane landed smoothly at the domestic airport.

Gian was already waiting nearby, looking sharp in a well-tailored suit.

Beside him, Kirsten was a vision in a long red dress, vibrant and captivating.

The pair walked over to greet them.

Gian’s eyes went to Alexander first, his brow furrowing slightly.

“How are you feeling?”

“I’ll live,” Alexander replied with a faint smile.

Kirsten, meanwhile, linked arms with Danielle, her own smile bright.

“We were getting so worried! If you’d been gone any longer, Gian and I were about to storm Antarctica ourselves.”

Danielle squeezed her hand, about to respond when she noticed matching, simple rings on both of their ring fingers.

Her eyes widened, and her smile froze.

“You two… are?”

Kirsten raised an eyebrow, wiggling her fingers playfully.

“Yep. Legally married, fully certified.”

“Married?” Danielle’s voice shot up in disbelief.

She glanced at Gian, who simply nodded with a small smile, which only made her more flabbergasted.

“When did this happen? How did I not hear anything?”

“It happened while you were trapped in Antarctica,” Gian said calmly. “It was the only way to mobilize the Atwood family’s resources.”

Danielle and Alexander exchanged a look, completely floored that Gian and Kirsten would take such a step.

She pointed a trembling finger at his chest.

“Sammie told me everything! You were shot! You almost died!” she sobbed.

“Why are you so reckless? Why did you have to take such a risk? Do you have any idea what I’ve been through? I’ve been crying my eyes out every day, terrified I’d wake up to terrible news! Are you trying to scare me to death?”

She wept, lightly hitting Alexander’s arm, each soft blow filled with anguish and love.

Danielle stood by, watching the scene unfold.

She stepped forward and gently patted Bianca’s back.

“Please don’t worry,” she said softly. “Alex is safe now. He won’t be in danger anymore.”

Bianca turned to Danielle, her heart aching even more as she saw the exhaustion on Danielle’s face.

Taking Danielle’s hand, she sighed.

“You poor child. You’ve suffered so much because of Alex.”

Then, in a quieter voice, she added, “I was wrong before, too.”

In the past, Bianca had been imperious and had never approved of Danielle.
