“You’re right,” she said through gritted teeth, her voice laced with a fierce determination.
“I’m entitled to a share of the Davidson fortune! And now, a woman with no blood ties and a Chapman bastard are getting a piece of the pie. Why can’t I?”
For years, she had bitten her tongue with her in-laws and endured condescending looks from her own family, all for the day she could get her share of the Davidson inheritance.

Danny saw the ambition burning in her eyes.
He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a low whisper.
“The Davidson empire was never meant to belong to Alexander alone. If we work together and plan carefully, we might just be able to take back what’s rightfully yours.”
Paula looked at the shrewd glint in her husband’s eyes and nodded heavily.
A fire was building inside her, burning hotter and hotter.
“Alright,” she said, her voice firm. “Let’s plan this carefully. I’m going to take back everything that belongs to me.”
