The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 1361

Ella watched Niki run away, the smile completely vanishing from her face as a predatory gleam flashed in her eyes.

She gripped the chocolate in her hand so tightly that her knuckles turned white. The little girl was surprisingly on guard.

But it didn't matter.

Ella slowly stood up, brushed the dust off her clothes, and looked down the hallway of the academic building.

Alexander Davidson stood there, his gaze icy and piercing.

Ella offered him a bold smile, then turned on her heel, walking gracefully toward the school gates.

Alexander watched her retreating figure, the coldness in his eyes deepening.

He pulled out his phone and dialed his assistant. "Investigate the true motive behind Ella's recent donation. And double the security detail. I want Danielle and Niki protected at all times."

On the ride home, Niki sat in Alexander's car, her little mouth chattering away non-stop.

Tugging at his sleeve, she looked up with absolute seriousness. "Dad, a bad lady came to school today. She tried to give me chocolate, but I didn't take it."

"She didn't look like a nice person at all. Last time I saw her, she was trying to throw herself at you."

Alexander gently patted Niki's head, a flicker of tenderness softening his gaze. His voice was low and reassuring. "You did the right thing, Niki. Never take things from strangers."

When they arrived home, Danielle Crawford was already there.

Seeing Alexander walk in with Niki, she immediately went to greet them with a warm smile. "Why are you two so late today? Did something happen at school?"

As soon as Niki saw Danielle, she let go of Alexander's hand and threw herself into her mother's arms. "Mom! Mom!"

Niki quickly recounted her encounter with Ella at school.

Pursing her lips, the little girl added, "She's that same lady who tried to throw herself at Dad outside his office building!"

Danielle's smile instantly froze. She looked up at Alexander.
