Gian rushed over. Seeing her pale face and vacant eyes, his heart clenched. He gently took her arm to steady her.
“Are you not feeling well?”
Danielle looked up into Gian’s worried eyes, and the panic she’d been holding back surged like a tidal wave.
She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, but her voice still shook. “Gian, something’s… I think I might be pregnant.”
“Pregnant?” Gian’s pupils contracted. He was clearly stunned.
