The Year I Was the Other Woman To Myself novel Chapter 541

Before the security guards could notice, the two children dashed outside. But just as they were about to get away, Maria's bodyguards spotted them and rushed over, blocking the exit.

With the gate blocked and their pursuers closing in from behind, they were trapped.

Hubert pulled Kristin left and right, but every path was blocked. He was out of ideas. Just then, a bodyguard grabbed Kristin.

"She's the one who hit me! Mommy, get revenge for me!" Queena shouted, pointing at Kristin.

Maria had just heard from her daughter about the audition incident and guessed the little girl's identity. She had to be Natalie's daughter.

This woman had her friend cause trouble for her, and now she had her daughter beat up her own daughter. It was outrageous.

Growing angrier by the second, Maria stormed over.

Hubert hadn't seen Maria yet. All he saw was Kristin being held by a bodyguard. To save her, he lunged forward and bit the bodyguard's hand. The man yelped in pain and let go. Hubert seized the opportunity to pull Kristin away, but in the next second, the bodyguard grabbed him.

"You little brat, you dare bite me!"

The bodyguard gripped Hubert's arm and hoisted him onto his shoulder.

"Let me go!"

Hubert was only six, and at that moment, fear began to set in.

"Let him go!" Kristin cried in panic.

Hubert composed himself slightly and shouted to Kristin, "Kristin, run!"

"I have to save you!"

"Go home and find my mom!"

But Kristin refused to abandon him. She clenched her small fists and started hitting the bodyguard's leg. Just then, Maria rushed over, grabbed Kristin's arm, and yanked her hard. When she saw the face that was a spitting image of Natalie, rage consumed her, and she slapped the child across the face.

"Put that phone down!" Maria yelled at Julian.

"Tell your bodyguard to let him go!"

Maria was furious. She turned to the school director and snapped, "Look at the fine student you've raised! Threatening people! Aren't you going to make him put down his phone and hand it over? I need to delete the video he just recorded!"

The director, intimidated by Maria's power, turned to Julian. "What are you doing here instead of being in class? Hand over the phone!"

Julian ignored the director and kept his phone aimed at Maria.

"I'll count to three. If you don't let him go, I'm uploading this immediately. A famous celebrity, so sweet and kind on camera, but privately beating up other people's children. Just wait for the backlash!"

"You!" Maria was trembling with rage.

This kid was infuriating, but she knew he was capable of following through on his threat.
