Hassan's gaze landed on Natalie. "You sent him out?"

Natalie's lips curled upward. "He went out because he was curious. If he didn't care, nothing I said would have made a difference. Aren't you curious, though?"

"Curious about what?" Hassan replied smoothly.

"Curious about what Gardenia has to say. Don't you want to know even a little bit?"

"No," Hassan said flatly.

Meanwhile, Jude followed Lara and Gardenia all the way to the balcony at the end of the corridor.
