I slept mostly soundly through the night – until just before dawn, when three bodies around me suddenly went very still. One of them, Kairos, I thought, even started to growl.

Startled, I blinked open my eyes. My mates were fully alert, each of them staring out the window. And on the other side of it, a

face stared in.

My heart leapt up into my throat.

My mates went to the door, tearing through it, rushing outside, not caring at all that they were naked.
