Chapter 151 Get Into Prestige Manor
Chapter 151 Get Into Prestige Manor
Bella couldn’t help but think she’d made the wrong choice from the very beginning.
Jason was even more shocked by those photos. He couldn’t say a single word for ages.
The atmosphere on set froze for a split second.
Silence hung in the air for a full minute.
Kayla, who had already settled back onto the couch, finally broke the silence. “Even if they really are at Prestige Manor that doesn’t mean it’s Whitney’s villa.”
Then she answered Liz’s question. “On the show, Whitney did show she didn’t like Emily.
“Since we were teammates with Emily, it’s only natural that Whitney would dislike us too. So it’s totally normal for her not to invite us.”
As Kayla spoke, she shot Emily a meaningful look.
It was like she was saying, “See? I’m doing exactly what you paid me for, and I’m doing it well.”
Watching as Kayla skillfully shifted the conversation and directed all the conflict toward herself. Emily’s lips, which had been pressed into a tight line, finally relaxed a little.
She wasn’t sure if she’d lost her composure in front of the cameras.
But once Kayla spoke up, everyone online would definitely start zeroing in on her instead.
Besides, Kayla was blatantly taking shots
look like the sweet fairy everyone a “Whitney, which not only shifted all the heat onto herself but also made Emily
As long as Kayla was actually willing to earn her paycheck and put in the work, Emily would be able to wash herself clean in this stream, no matter how things played out.
And once the show wraps up.
Emily would have plenty of ways to get those six point seven million dollars back from Kayla, every single penny.
But Emily was totally unaware.
Right now, she was being completely led by the nose by Kayla.
On the surface, Kayla was steering the conversation and drawing all the heat onto herself.
But what was her real goal?
For instance, the whole buzz about Whitney living at Prestige Manor? That was Kayla steering the

from the start.
She could see right through Emily, always acting innocent, but even when she pretended to speak up for Whitney, she’d be quietly trashing her and spreading rumors.
Every bit of it was Kayla setting traps for Emily to walk right into.
Right now, Kayla was openly mocking Whitney.
But in everything she said, she was indirectly admitting that their relationship with Whitney was actually pretty bad. And the reason for that? It was because Whitney hated Emily.
Since Emily insisted on banding together with the others to isolate Whitney, Whitney naturally ended up disliking all of
them too.
At the same time, Kayla was nudging Emily to bring up the idea that the villa wasn’t even Whitney’s at all. She was pretending it was hers to look impressive.
Whitney walked out of the kitchen, glanced at the stream, and instantly saw right through Kayla’s game.
But Emily, dense as a brick, was totally oblivious to what was really going on.
She actually went along with Kayla, looking totally stunned. “Kayla, you mean that villa isn’t Whitney’s? She’s using someone else’s place and pretending it’s hers to feed her ego-”
She didn’t even get to finish her sentence.
It was like she suddenly realized something was off and hurriedly covered her mouth.
The more she tried to hide it, the more obvious it got.
She thought she was slick, acting like it wasn’t her idea and dumping it all on Kayla.
Chapter 151 Get Into Prestige Manor
Inside the villa at Prestige Manor, Nora spat in disgust. “What a two-faced bitch. Isn’t she trying to make the viewers think Whitney only got us into Prestige Manor by cozying up to some sugar daddy?”
Henry stayed calm and smooth, letting out a low laugh. “So much for the Anderson family’s precious daughter. She’s really nothing special.
“You really think a place like Prestige Manor is somewhere you can get into by sucking up to some rich guy?”
Elian nodded along. “Yeah, seriously. If they’re going to try to smear Whitney, at least use their brains. This is Prestige Manor, not some Anderson family villa, like anyone would let you borrow a place here.”
Nora added, “That fake innocent probably won’t ever get a chance to set foot in Prestige Manor in her whole life. She can’t even get a glimpse inside, let alone borrow a place here.”
After they arrived at Prestige Manor, the group was so hyped they couldn’t stop taking photos and checking in everywhere, like they were living in a dream.
Then Nora got a message from her group of girlfriends, saying Emily had dragged Kayla and the others onto a live variety show, probably to go after Whitney.
So Nora turned on the TV and started following the stream.
When Nora heard Kayla and Emily slandering Whitney, she rushed to the kitchen to ask Whitney if she could show off some photos of herself at Prestige Manor on social media.
Whitney didn’t care at all, waved her off, and said, “Go ahead.”
Nora carefully picked out the most luxurious, show-off photos that clearly showed she was at Prestige Manor, posted a nine-photo grid, and even tagged the location.
‘This will totally piss off that fake innocent, Nora thought.
Then Nora started scrolling through her phone, flipping through her photo album, looking for photos that could prove the villa really belongs to Whitney.
Then, on the stream, Liz asked straight out, “Miss Anderson, do you think Miss Harrington brought Mr. Howard and the others to Prestige Manor for dinner by borrowing someone else’s villa?”
Emily quickly shook her head. “That’s not what I meant. I’m a little surprised.”
She blinked her innocent eyes, looking a bit confused, and muttered almost to herself, “Whitney’s only been in Roynfort for two years, and besides the Anderson family, she barely knows anyone else.
“So I really don’t know how Whitney could have her own villa at Prestige Manor.”
“So, Miss Anderson, it seems you don’t really know Miss Harrington that well,” Liz pressed on. “Whil you ever considered whether you wanted to host a party with your friends at Prestige Manor?
“Miss Anderson, do you even have the status or resources to get in?”
you’re surprised, have
She paused, then continued sharply, “Or to put it another way. Do you even have the right connections to get into Prestige Manor?”
Emily’s face flushed with anger, then turned pale with shock, and finally went completely white.
She shot Liz a glare, her eyes showing a hint of irritation. A hint of shame crept onto her face.
‘Is this host trying to humiliate me?’ Emily thought.
But at the same time, Emily couldn’t help but wonder. If she really wanted to take her friends to Prestige Manor for a dinner party, did the Anderson family actually have the pull to get her in?
And among her friends, was there really anyone who could hook her up with a villa at Prestige Manor?
No. She knew the answer all too well.
The clearer it was to her, the more humiliated and frustrated she felt deep down.
She felt like Liz was subtly mocking her, making it clear she was no match for Whitney in any way.
“Isn’t it expected that Whitney could score a villa at Prestige Manor?” Kayla chimed in again, flashing Emily a sly smile. “1 mean, she’s got Ryan, doesn’t she?”
