Their Punching Bag Became The Storm novel Chapter 152

Chapter 152 Are They Even a Good Match.

Chapter 152 Are They Even a Good Match

With that reminder, everyone present immediately got it..

The Real Survival staff who joined the livestream nodded in agreement.

They all started talking about how Ryan and Whitney had teamed up during the show’s filming, and how strong their bond

was.

If Ryan was helping out, then it made sense. That would explain everything.

Ryan, the future heir of the Pierce family and the guy at the top of Roynfort, already lived in Prestige Manor.

Prestige Manor is said to be in Sector S, too.

If Whitney asked Ryan for a favor, it was totally possible he’d let her use his villa in Prestige Manor to host a dinner with her friends.

But if that’s really how it is.

Does that mean Whitney and Ryan are already living together? So, does that mean Whitney is Ryan’s girlfriend? Are they about to make it official?

Romance rumors are always the hottest topic; nothing grabs attention like a juicy scandal.

Everyone online instantly got excited.

People started flooding the chat, asking if Ryan and Whitney were still crazy sweet behind the scenes during Real Survival

Some were even asking if Ryan and Whitney were actually together.

The live chat was packed with all this

Xcited f

talk.

But not a single one of Ryan’s hardcore stans jumped out to call Whitney a homewrecker, accuse her of chasing after Ryan, or insist that Ryan should stay single and untouchable.

Clearly, when it came to shipping Ryan and Whitney, the public was pretty supportive. People online were totally cool with it.

But honestly, with Ryan’s status, he didn’t

have to care about any drama or backlash from dating a top celebrity.

Emily stared at the barrage of gossip flooding the live chat, and she was absolutely livid.

She was seriously pissed off. She couldn’t stand it.

Emily thought, ‘Nobody should be paired with Ryan except me. His name and mine belong together. No one else deserves that. Only I have the right to be linked with him.’

In her mind, she was supposed to be the one everyone shipped with Ryan on Real Survival.

Even after the show ended, she could keep riding Ryan’s fame and stay connected to him, keeping the buzz alive.

But Whitney had snatched it all away from her.

Emily thought, ‘Are all these people online blind or what?

‘How could someone like Whitney, a nobody from the small town who grew up living off handouts, ever be good enough for Ryan, who’s practically a god?

‘Seriously, how are they even a good match?

‘Someone as high and mighty as Ryan, ruling over everyone like a god, should only be with someone like me, born to greatness from the very start!’

Emily’s heart was instantly overflowing with resentment. She resented Whitney and blamed Kayla for everything.

‘This is all Kayla’s fault. Why did she have to mention Ryan right now? Now Whitney’s leeching off all of Ryan’s clout,’ Emily thought angrily.

Kayla didn’t shows

much emotion in response to Emily’s resentful glare.

She rested her chin in her hand, acting like she hadn’t even seen the comments flooding the chat. “Now that Whitney’s hitched herself to Ryan, she’s obviously too good for the Anderson family now.

“What a shame, Emily, all your good intentions are wasted now.”

Her words were clearly a jab at Whitney, implying she used the Anderson family as a stepping stone, then kicked them to the curb as soon as she hooked Ryan.

It cemented the idea that Whitney was a total t.

But Emily couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.

Chapter 152 Are They Even a Good Match

Ever since Kayla turned into a total wild card, everything about her felt off.

With the cameras rolling. Emily couldn’t say anything, so she played along and kept things moving for the livestream.

But because Ryan and Whitney were brought up, the conversation shifted to them.

And since Whitney really did host her three friends at Prestige Manor, that made the focus on her even stronger.

After that, the spotlight was all on Whitney.

Emily was there for show, forced to keep up a cheerful front.

Meanwhile, over at Prestige Manor, Nora took one look at Emily’s face, like she’d bitten into a lemon and cracked up. “What goes around comes around. She loves playing the innocent card, and now she’s totally stuck. Serves her right.”

Henry’s gaze landed on Kayla, and he frowned slightly. “If I remember right, she’s an artist under Anderson/Entertainment Lately, she’s been popping up everywhere, all to help rehabilitate Emily’s reputation.

“Normally, she should be hyping Emily up so she can score more opportunities later.

“But I can’t shake the feeling that Kayla’s toying with Emily.”

Hearing Henry’s comment, Whitney glanced over at him.

Sure enough, Henry was an old hand in the business. He could spot Kayla’s weird vibe right away.

She wiped her hands and said, “Kayla probably feel

nothing but resentment toward the Anderson family now. Once Emily’s

reputation is cleared up, Kayla won’t be useful to them anymore.

“Forget getting blacklisted. She’d be wiped out, like she never even existed.”

After all, Kayla really did show up with that video she filmed during the show, trying to use it against Emily.

Emily would never let Kayla have any leverage over her.

Emily would never allow anyone to reveal she was a phony heiress.

And Chase would never let their secret relationship get exposed, either.

Once Kayla left the show, she lost her leverage; the video was gone.

Without that video, she had nothing to protect herself.

‘How could she possibly come out of this unharmed?’ Whitney thought.

Kayla was still around, but only because Emily needed someone to take the heat while her reputation was trashed.

So, Kayla, who once used that video to threaten Emily, was now definitely being schemed against by the Anderson family. They’d use another video, one that could ruin Kayla, to threaten her right back

Even if Kayla tried to act normal now, it was obvious something was off.

Whenever she looked at Emily, her eyes would occasionally flash with a hint of madness and something unsettling. With Kayla like this, there’s no way she’d ever genuinely help Emily out.

Hearing Whitney speak, Nora whipped her head around, her big eyes wide with shock. “Whitney, we live in a country with laws. Would the Anderson family really go that far?

“Are they seriously trying to make someone vanish? If they actually did something like that? That’s totally illegal.”

“Wasn’t Kayla totally obsessed with Emily before? She was basically her biggest simp. How did she end up going from Emily’s most loyal fan to a disposable tool?” Elian asked, genuinely curious.

Whitney smiled. “You’d have to ask Emily why she won’t tolerate Kayla anymore.”

Nora turned her head toward the screen. She glanced at Kayla, then at Emily.

After Henry and Whitney pointed it out, Nora started to realize how strange those two were acting

The stranger it felt, the more a certain idea kept surfacing in her mind.

She quickly tossed aside the pillow she was hugging and scurried over to Whitney. “Whitney, let me help you out in the kitchen. I’ve got something I want to talk to you about.”

They originally wanted to help out in the kitchen.

But Whitney thought they were way too loud, so she shooed them out and told them to go wander around instead.

That’s why they didn’t end up helping in the kitchen.

Now Nora had a hunch and was eager to share it with Whitney.
