Thorns Grow After Betrayal (Celeste and Chester) novel Chapter 325

Just as Celestine finished helping a customer put together an outfit, a woman approached her holding a long, black silk dress.

“Let me check for you,” Celestine said, taking the dress from her.

The dress was a new arrival that had just come in today. They had only stocked twenty pieces, and the medium sizes were already sold out.

Celestine told her the truth.

The customer looked disappointed. “I really do like this dress.”

“Thank you so much. However, I think you could wear a small. The dress has a cinched waist and is made of a breathable silk, but it has a lot of stretch and give. Your figure could absolutely handle this size. On you, it would look—as they say these days—both sexy and innocent.”

Celestine paused, then smiled. “You could try it on. If you prefer a looser fit, you can also leave your contact information, and we’ll arrange for home delivery once this size is restocked.”

Celestine patiently explained the dress's features and offered alternative solutions.

The customer couldn't stop smiling from all the compliments.

“Alright, I’ll try on the small then.”

While Celestine was speaking, a crowd of customers had gathered around, drawn in by her presentation.

The guest manager’s livestream camera also panned over to Celestine.

[Wow, this sales associate is so sweet! If she talked to me like that, she could talk me into regressing back to an embryo. I’d buy ten dresses!]

[OMG~ Just placed my order. Please pack it with extra love~]

[??? That was fast! Holy crap! I can’t even find Kismet Collective’s online store!]

[Don’t bother, noooo, even the XXXS is sold out.]

The stream pushed Kismet Collective’s grand opening viewership past one hundred thousand, even briefly trending on the platform.

Crystal Lennox shook her head, laughing. “Nope. It’s the Sable.”

She pointed to the last black silk dress on the display rack.

The dress had a very simple design, but its cut and material created a stunning effect once worn.

Just like the customer Celestine had recommended the small size to—she had ended up buying and wearing it out of the store.

Celestine thought of something and asked in surprise, “Was it because of my sales pitch just now?”

“Exactly!” Crystal Lennox slung an arm around her shoulder, her smile widening. “That dress is completely sold out on our online store. Pre-orders are already backed up to June! I think making you a designer was a waste of your talent. If you were a livestream salesperson, you’d probably be a billionaire by now.”

Celestine laughed at her teasing and replied playfully, “Oh really? Is it too late for me to switch careers?”

“Hey, no way. But then again, sales is a physically demanding job. Be good. Let’s stick to shining in the world of design,” Crystal Lennox said, changing her tune instantly.
