Vivienne already felt a crushing sense of crisis the moment she laid eyes on Willow. Seeing the entire group captivated by her made Vivienne want to snap. She wanted nothing more than to walk up and slap Willow across the face.
But to maintain the gentle, innocent persona she had carefully crafted, she swallowed her fury and forced a fake smile. "She really does look beautiful now. Her figure is stunning. I don't think I even compare to her anymore."
She immediately looked at Julian, desperately hoping he would contradict her, hoping he would tell her that Willow was nothing compared to her, weight loss or not. Unfortunately, she didn't get the reassurance she sought.
Julian didn't even acknowledge the comment, acting as if he hadn't heard a single word.
It was Seth who jumped in to rescue her pride. "No way. No matter how much she changes, she couldn't hold a candle to you. You'll always be the princess of our group."
But even Seth's flattery did absolutely nothing to soothe Vivienne's spiraling insecurity.

Meanwhile, Jade walked back from taking her phone call and instantly spotted Julian's group. She grabbed Willow's arm, her eyes flashing with righteous fury. "What are the odds? Look who we bumped into. Come on, I'm going to give that scumbag a piece of my mind!"
Willow firmly planted her feet. She didn't want Jade getting dragged into this mess. "Forget it. He's not worth the breath. Let's just go."
"Not a chance. I am not letting him get away with this today."
Jade already knew the gist of the hell Julian had put Willow through. She just hadn't had the time or opportunity to cross paths with him until now. Since he was right here, she was determined to make him pay.
