Three Years Forgotten, Why Go Crazy When I Say Goodbye? novel Chapter 383

"New York City is only so big. If he really wanted to dig, he was bound to find it eventually," Willow said, unsurprised. She had known what kind of man Julian was for a long time.

"I'm just sorry I dragged you into this."

"It's nothing. He didn't get a damn thing out of me except a solid verbal trashing before he scurried away. Oh, by the way, he said something else today." Jade decided to spare Willow the rest of Julian's narcissistic barking, but she felt she needed to mention the Arthur Vance situation.

"What did he say?"

"He seems to be under the delusion that you and Arthur are dating."

Willow found the whole thing utterly ridiculous. "Let him think whatever he wants. As long as he stays out of my face, I don't care."

"That's exactly what I thought. Don't even give him the time of day," Jade agreed, scoffing. "Honestly, he's so stupid. All that investigating, and he targets the wrong guy. How could you be dating Arthur when you're clearly dating Silas Thorne?"

Willow had been calmly sipping her water, but at the mention of Silas, she nearly choked. She quickly pulled the glass away, coughing. "Jade, stop talking nonsense! I am not dating him. He already has someone he likes."

"Alright, alright, you're not dating. Just let me enjoy shipping you two in peace," Jade teased, not willing to argue. In her eyes, it was only a matter of time. It all depended on how they navigated things.

"Not yet," she answered, a bit bewildered.

"Perfect. I made too much. Come over and eat with me."

Figuring she could help him finish off some leftovers and save herself the trouble of cooking, Willow agreed and headed over to his apartment.

But the moment she walked in, she realized Silas's definition of 'too much' was wildly different from hers.
