"Answer the question."
Backed into a corner, Arthur went with his gut—and survival instinct. "You are, sir. Definitely."
Silas pushed further, his tone unrelenting. "Is that your personal opinion, or the general consensus?"
Arthur frantically wiped a bead of sweat from his forehead. He had no idea why a billionaire titan was obsessing over such a trivial metric. "I'd say... ninety percent of people would agree it's you, sir."
"What about the other ten percent?" Silas was utterly unsatisfied. He didn't actually care about a beauty contest with Leo. Prior to meeting Willow, he had never given a single thought to his own appearance.
His only fear was that she might find someone else more attractive.
He was terrified she was in that remaining ten percent. After all, she had once been madly in love with Julian Sinclair, which proved her taste in men could be wildly unpredictable.
Realizing there was no winning this conversation, Arthur clamped his mouth shut, praying Silas would lose interest and move on.
Thankfully, Silas dropped it, pivoting to his next obsession. "Did she eat lunch today?"
"Uh..." Arthur stalled, knowing this answer was going to drop a bomb.
"Spit it out," Silas demanded, his voice laced with venom. He despised hesitation.
Arthur braced himself. "Director Horgan didn't eat with me today, sir. She went to lunch with Leo."
