Three Years Forgotten, Why Go Crazy When I Say Goodbye? novel Chapter 502

Glaring at Silas's retreating back, Julian felt a surge of indignity he couldn't swallow.

As the CEO of Sinclair Group, being casually dismissed in such a manner was a humiliating blow to his pride. He immediately moved to storm after him, but an arm suddenly blocked his path.

It was Arthur Vance. His tone was impeccably polite, yet firm. "Mr. Sinclair, apologies. Mr. Thorne has pressing matters to attend to. We cannot allow any further interruptions."

Already practically choking on his own rage, being physically stopped pushed Julian entirely over the edge. He glared viciously at Arthur, his mind instantly flashing to all the disgusting rumors. This was him—the man supposedly having a sordid affair with Willow. The secret paramour.

A blinding cocktail of bitterness, burning jealousy, and humiliation clouded his judgment completely.

Instead of shoving past him, Julian snapped his gaze to the tall figure just about to vanish through the doorway. His voice rang out, sharp and venomous. "Silas Thorne! Do you have any idea what your subordinate does behind your back? You've been played for a fool this entire time! Every single thing that's happened has been orchestrated by your assistant, Arthur Vance, just to get into Willow's bed!"

The heavy footsteps abruptly ceased.

Silas, who had been thoroughly indifferent and unwilling to engage, froze the moment the words echoed through the air.

He slowly turned around, his dark, bottomless eyes zeroing in on the unhinged CEO.

Beside Julian, Arthur's heart practically leaped out of his throat. A cold sweat broke out across his skin as panic gripped him.

Not this again!

This wasn't even the first time!

Julian was going to get him killed with these reckless accusations. As if he had a death wish! Did this idiot really think he'd ever have the sheer audacity to go after Willow?
