When Willow heard the plan, she hesitated. "Is that really appropriate? Conventionally, we should be the ones traveling to Seattle to pay our respects. Having your elders fly all the way here... won't they think I'm being disrespectful?"

Silas wrapped his arms around her, his steady presence instantly calming her nerves. "You don't need to worry about that. The Thorne family doesn't care about outdated rules. We do whatever is most comfortable."

He leaned down, resting his forehead against hers. "When I told them I proposed, they were ecstatic. They've been dying to see you. When I suggested the visit, they were the ones who insisted on coming to New York. I've already prepped the private jet and handled all the logistics. You just need to relax."
