Three Years Forgotten, Why Go Crazy When I Say Goodbye? novel Chapter 630

Silas stayed right by her side. He occasionally handled light work, but mostly, he just kept her company, pressing soft kisses to the top of her head and chatting with her about everything and nothing.

When the mood struck, they would take the private yacht out for some deep-sea fishing, sitting side by side to watch the horizon blur where the sky met the sea, indulging in this leisurely time reserved just for them.

There was no overwhelming workload, no messy social obligations. Just the two of them together from dawn till dusk, surrounded by peace and sweet romance.

That evening, they were enjoying yet another cozy candlelight dinner. The table was set with fresh seafood and exquisite dishes, the atmosphere incredibly romantic.

Willow and Silas were chatting in hushed tones, taking their time with the meal, talking about the island's scenery and their future together.

Suddenly, a fierce wave of nausea hit her stomach, fast and aggressive. Willow's face went pale. Without a word, she shot up from her chair and dashed toward the bathroom.

Silas’s heart lurched. He immediately dropped his fork and hurried after her. "What's wrong? Are you sick?"

Gripping the edge of the sink, it took Willow a long moment before the intense nausea finally subsided. She was breathing slightly heavy, her complexion still quite pale. She glanced back at Silas's tense face and forced a reassuring smile. "I'm okay. I probably just ate too much seafood and it didn't agree with me. I'm just a little nauseous. It'll pass, don't worry."

But her words did little to ease his anxiety. He walked up to her, gently resting a hand on her waist to support her.

He knew her health too well. She had always eaten sensibly and rarely suffered from such severe, sudden sickness.

"I don't think it's food poisoning," Silas said firmly, his eyes dark with worry. "We can't risk it. I'm having a doctor take a look."

They were on a remote island, far from proper medical facilities. Willow smiled helplessly, giving him a gentle nudge. "I'm really fine, don't worry. I'm not that fragile."

But when it came to her, Silas never took any chances.

He leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead, his tone tender yet unyielding. "Your health is everything. I'm not taking a single risk."
