But she didn't see it.
At the corner of the corridor, that venomous gaze.
Seeing Clara walk into Dominic's bedroom, Seraphina finally revealed a triumphant smile.
She leaned comfortably against the wall, took out her phone, and directly sent the 'intimate photos' of Clara and Dominic she had secretly snapped today to Julian Lowell.

[Julian, I didn't expect that Clara came to the estate to meet Dominic Jarrett. I originally didn't want to tell you about this because I didn't want to upset you, but now I really can't hold it back anymore. Clara just went into Dominic's room!]
[Julian, look at how she is now! She has no sense of shame at all!]
[She doesn't respect you at all and is openly cheating on you!]
[Today was the first time I saw her with Dominic, but I feel there's definitely more between them. Who knows how many times they've met behind your back!]

Meanwhile, at Shallow Bay.
Julian got off work early today intentionally, just so he could go back and see Clara, to talk with her.
He felt that between the two of them, after these past few days of cold war, it was time they had a talk.
However, he didn't realize that they had had cold wars before, only that it had always been him unilaterally freezing Clara out. Yet, they had never actually talked things through...
But when he entered the house, what he learned was that Clara hadn't returned yet.
Susan: "Madam hasn't come back yet. She must still be busy. Perhaps you should wait a bit longer, sir."
Julian stood rooted to the spot, frowning. After a few seconds, he let out a muffled 'hmm' from his nose and said, "When she gets back, tell her to come find me in the study."
"Alright."
Julian nodded and went upstairs to the study.
He didn't know exactly what Clara had been so busy with all day, so busy that she didn't reply to messages and didn't even come home at night.
Before, she was never like this. She would come straight home after work, and sometimes even cook for him or make some dessert.
Feeling irritated, he lit a cigarette, just about to call Clara to ask...
Julian's face was grim. While calling Clara, he walked out of the study and strode downstairs.
Susan was cleaning. Hearing the noise, she asked, "Sir, where are you going?"
Julian didn't answer. Hearing the call automatically disconnect, his expression grew even colder as he strode out the front door toward the parking space.
At this moment, Arthur Higgins was still sitting in the car, planning to finish smoking a cigarette before heading back. But in the blink of an eye, he saw the boss coming out of the house again in the rearview mirror.
He was momentarily stunned.
The next second, the rear door opened. Julian got into the car, looking extremely unpleasant, and ordered coldly, "To Ms. Shaw's estate."
Arthur hesitated for a moment before reacting. He tossed his cigarette butt, set the navigation, and drove off. "Oh... alright..."
On the way, he glanced at the rearview mirror from the corner of his eye a few times. He had a rough guess as to what had happened. After some thought, he still spoke up.
"Mr. Lowell, I feel that your attitude toward Ms. Vance is still very different..."
"Have you noticed that you actually pay a lot of... attention to her?"
He put it mildly.
Julian leaned against the back of the seat, his handsome face hidden in the darkness, enigmatic and unfathomable.
