The moment Emma finished speaking, Daniel’s eyes widened in absolute terror as he stared at the old photos in her hands.

The name of the Italian town was like a bomb going off in Daniel’s brain.

“That… that can’t be possible!”

Daniel started babbling incoherently, laughing nervously as he questioned my friend.

Sophia looked equally stunned, staring at the photos in complete confusion.

“It’s not April Fool’s Day. Don’t mess with me like this.”

“Mess with you? I’m not! It’s true. Here, let me speak some Italian with you!”

When Emma started speaking Italian with Daniel and his crew, Daniel looked like he was about to have a heart attack. All the color drained

from his face, and he opened his mouth but couldn’t get a single word out.

“Hehe, believe me now? What a crazy coincidence! If I hadn’t seen the address on that package you sent, I never would have known we were from the same place!”

“Zelda’s so silly though-why didn’t she tell you before? She even had me bring these old photos to show you. But I find it hard to believe she never spoke Italian when talking to her parents on the phone. You never heard her?”

That last sentence hit like a sledgehammer, crushing both Daniel and Sophia. They stared at each other like they’d seen ghosts.

“Hehe, surprised?”

Oh yeah, what a fucking surprise. Daniel looked like he was about to lose his mind.

Just then, his buddies came over, and Emma greeted each of them in Italian. Now they all looked completely shell-shocked.

“Oh, and Zelda has a special gift for each and every one of you.”

Emma gave a signal, and suddenly the big screens above them started playing footage of outdoor sex.

The videos hit like landmines, shocking everyone in the room awake.

“Holy shit, isn’t that guy the groom? That’s definitely him!”

“Oh my God, it’s not even censored! We can see everything!”

“Wait, the groom is cheating! He betrayed his bride!”

“Damn, look at him go. What a player!”

Daniel and Sophia’s eyes bulged as they frantically screamed for the staff to turn off the screens.

Then came footage of Daniel’s buddies and their affairs. Their girlfriends watched it all and started slapping the shit out of them.

“You’re two-timing me, you piece of shit!”

“That’s not me! That guy in the video isn’t me! Turn it off, stop playing it!”

But it was too late to turn off the videos now.

Everyone was surrounding them, pointing and hurling insults.

“Birds of a feather flock together!”

“Not one decent person among them.”

“That bitch is the worst of all. Shameless whore, I’m gonna puke.”

Daniel was the first to snap out of it. He lunged forward and grabbed Emma by the collar.

“Did you do all this?”

Emma kicked him right in the balls, then smashed her wine glass over his head.

“No, this is my surprise gift to all of you. How do you like it? Exciting enough for you?”

I spoke in perfect Italian, laughing as the words came out. Daniel and his crew stood there like statues, completely stunned.
