Samuel expressed his deep admiration for Nova's laser focus on her own goals. "Our Nova is the absolute best. Are you feeling back to normal yet? Let me get a look at you."
Nova turned on her laptop camera and stepped back so Samuel could get a full view. "I've actually been taking really good care of myself."
Money really did work wonders. Now, six weeks postpartum, Nova looked like a completely different person.
She had shed all her pregnancy weight, settling into a slender, toned figure with visible abs. With her stunning curves, no one would ever guess she had just had a baby.
Even her skin, previously marred by faint dark spots, was now a flawless, luminous porcelain, looking incredibly smooth and radiant.
Samuel was visibly stunned. "You look so gorgeous I barely recognize you! Even your hair looks thicker!"
In their line of work, late nights and thinning hair were par for the course.
But in just over a month, Nova had been completely reborn.
Hearing the commotion, Chloe poked her head onto the screen. Seeing Nova, her eyes practically sparkled. "Nova! Is that really you? We haven't seen you in a month and you... did you get a face transplant?"
Samuel scoffed. "Is that really the best compliment you've got?"
Chloe couldn't help herself. "You seriously look stunning—an absolute goddess! It's this elegant, confident, deeply rooted beauty. You look so relaxed and radiant! Nova, I had no idea you'd look this incredible once you lost the weight! Get closer to the camera, let me see. You've got curves in all the right places, it's just amazing!"
Nova laughed brightly. "Belinda wants to celebrate the end of my recovery, so I'm heading over to the estate tonight. I'll be back at the office tomorrow, so you can stare all you want then."
After hanging up, Nova checked the feed of Latonia.
Latonia was steadily improving. She had grown significantly, was taking in more milk, and all her vitals were perfectly normal!
Later that day, Nova arrived at the estate. Both Belinda and Abdul Forrester's eyes lit up the moment they saw her.
They had purposely kept their distance over the past month to ensure she could rest without interruptions.
Nova spent a good amount of time chatting with Belinda, leaving Abdul completely ignored on the sidelines, huffing and puffing in sheer annoyance.
As evening fell, Belinda checked the time, her smile fading slightly. "Why isn't Tristan here yet? Nova, dear, give him a call and ask."
