Felipa really didn't want to waste time dealing with Yvette.

Even though she was fully aware that Nova's capabilities, family background, and overall status paled in comparison to Yvette's, she had already accepted Nova as her daughter-in-law. She wasn't the kind of woman who kept looking for a better option once a decision was made.

"What is it?" Felipa asked, her tone guarded.

"It's something of the utmost importance. I don't think you know about it yet," Yvette said urgently.

If Felipa knew, she wouldn't be acting so calm, let alone letting Nova walk her to the car.

"But it's not convenient to talk here. There's a cafe just ahead," Yvette suggested, gesturing down the street.

Felipa hesitated, taking in Yvette's adamant posture.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Nova standing just a short distance away. If Nova saw her sneaking off to have a private chat with Yvette, it would inevitably cause misunderstandings. Nova had just *finally* called her Mom.

Besides, she had to report back to Belinda.

The old lady was currently breathing down her neck about getting the couple pregnant. Being seen with Yvette right now would look terrible.

Making up her mind, Felipa replied coldly, "If you have something to say, say it here."

Yvette didn't pick up on Felipa's subtle shift in attitude; she just assumed the older woman was in a hurry.

So, she immediately pulled out her phone, pulling up the photos she had secretly taken.

At that exact moment, just a few feet away, Nova received a call from Julian Stratford.

His tone was laced with frustration. "Yvette Sellers intentionally spilled ink all over the Divorce Agreement. The document is voided. I made this trip for nothing. I'm so sorry."

Nova remained silent for a long moment before asking, "What's our next step?"

"I never even got to see Mr. Forrester. I tried calling his office to see how he wanted to handle it, but he's been in meetings and hasn't picked up. I'm out of options for now, and I didn't want to delay the process, so I'm calling to ask if you could check with him directly." Mr. Stratford sounded deeply apologetic. "Nova, I really am sorry about this."

Nova shook her head, even though he couldn't see it. "It's not your fault."

"From my experience dealing with 'the other woman' in these cases, they usually start acting like the legal wife before they've even secured the ring. They feel entitled and superior, and they absolutely hate seeing the actual wife walk away with a large settlement. This Yvette woman is definitely operating with that mindset. You need to be careful."
