Brianna’s hands trembled as she stared at the nude photos of herself, one after another.

‘What should I do?‘ Brianna thought.

The memories she tried so hard to erase now clung to her like ghosts she couldn’t shake off.

She slumped into the chair, feeling utterly defeated.

Her mind went blank. She couldn’t even remember how to cry.

Brianna sat there, frozen and lifeless, as if she were a corpse.

Patsy held Brianna close, her whole body trembling.

“Brianna, don’t blame yourself. This isn’t your fault,” Patsy said softly.

Her mind slowly returned from a distant place.

She felt as if she’d just woken from a dream.

Darcy’s threat kept ringing in her ears: “If you don’t divorce him, I’ll send these photos to everyone you know!”

Brianna was scared.

She was afraid that Caroline would see those photos, and that Vickie, Mitch, and everyone who cared about her would see them too.

“I want to divorce Brandon. I can’t win against her. I give up,” Brianna said.

She desperately rummaged through the table, her movements frantic and panicked.

“Brianna,” Patsy tried to hold her back, but Brianna wouldn’t listen. Patsy yelled, “Brianna!”

Brianna paused, regaining a bit of composure as she came back to herself.

Brianna stared at the photos with empty eyes for what felt like forever, then finally buried her face in her hands, sobbing in utter despair.

Patsy held her close, wrapping her arms around Brianna.

“It’s okay. None of this is your fault,” Patsy whispered softly.

“I want a divorce. If she wants Brandon, let her have him for all I care. I’m done,” Brianna said, her voice trembling.

Brianna looked up at Patsy, her eyes blurred with tears.

“Come on, you have to stay strong!” Patsy said, trying to comfort her. “We’ll get through this together.”

Brianna felt like she’d fallen into an icy abyss. Even though it was May, she felt so cold that it seemed to seep into her bones.

“Is there anything left I can do? It’s all over,” Brianna whispered.

A deep sense of helplessness gripped her, threatening to drag her down into the mire.

“Don’t talk like that. As long as you’re still breathing, there’s always hope,” Patsy said.

Patsy’s mind was spinning, desperately searching for a way to shield Brianna from any more pain.

“I don’t want to fight anymore, Patsy. I just want a peaceful life, and I just want my family to be okay,” Brianna

said.

Her mind drifted to Caroline.

‘If Caroline ever found out about this. She’s not in good shape, and she’d have to worry about me too,‘ Brianna thought.

“I was already planning to divorce him, so I might as well go through with it,” Brianna murmured.

She wished she could retreat into a hard shell, safe from everything outside, and block out the world completely.

“Even if you get divorced, they’re not going to leave you alone,” Patsy said, her voice steady.

“No, she just wants Brandon. Once I divorce him, she’ll leave me alone,” Brianna replied.

She was only fooling herself.

Patsy gripped Brianna’s arm tightly, fixing her with a stern look.

“Brianna! Think about it. With the way they do things, do you really believe she’ll just let you walk away?” Patsy said.

Brianna let out a heavy sigh and pressed her hands to her face.

Patsy was right. They’d never leave her alone.

“So what should I do now?” Brianna asked.

“Call Brandon and tell him what’s happening,” Patsy said.

Patsy knew that right now, only Brandon could keep Darcy and the others in check.

No matter what, with the Levy family’s reputation on the line, Brandon would never ignore this.

“No!” Brianna refused firmly.

Brianna blinked, thinking she must have heard wrong, and looked at Patsy in disbelief.

“If Brandon really put her up to threatening you into divorcing him, then you need to lay it all out in the open,” Patsy said.

She looked at Brianna with unwavering determination.

“If those photos go public, the Levy family will lose all their reputation,” Patsy said, her voice steady.

Patsy wasn’t convinced by Brianna’s reasoning.

Brandon was the one in charge of the Levy family. If he wanted a divorce, he wouldn’t need to play all these

games.

Besides, if those photos ever leaked, the Levy family would become a joke among everyone in Klamdiff’s elite circles.

“Here’s what you do. Give the photos to Brandon and tell him you’re planning to go to the police. See how he responds,” Patsy said.

Brianna listened, her gaze uncertain.

She was so overwhelmed she couldn’t think straight anymore. She just wanted Patsy by her side, to help her analyze Brandon’s attitude.
