Chapter 88
Brianna and Patsy had just stepped out of the Levy Group when Brianna’s phone rang.
She glanced at the screen and saw it was Brandon.
She exchanged a look with Patsy before answering. “Hello?”
“Wait for me. We’re heading to the Meyers place,” Brandon said.
“The Meyers place? What for?” Brianna said, her voice tinged with confusion.
Brianna shot Patsy a puzzled look, clearly not understanding what was going on.
“Wait for me at the entrance!” Brandon said.

On the top floor of the Levy Group, Brandon stood by the glass window, his gaze fixed on Brianna as she walked out below.
Watching her leave, rage simmered in his chest, intensifying with every step she took away from him.
His vision was so sharp that, even from this distance, he could make out every detail of her figure.
After hanging up, Brianna looked at Patsy, her face full of confusion.
“He said we’re going to the Meyers place,” Brianna said.
Patsy was just as clueless about what Brandon was up to.
Whenever she tried to talk to him, he was so tight–lipped, like he never wanted to give anything away.
She could never tell what was really going on in his mind.
“Let’s just go and see what he’s planning,” Patsy said, shrugging. “Maybe we’ll finally figure out what he’s thinking.”
Brianna nodded.
After saying goodbye to Patsy, Brianna waited for Brandon at the entrance, her brow furrowed in worry.
Just a few minutes later, Brandon’s Maybach pulled up to the curb.
Brianna slid into the car, giving Brandon a glare that said she was already fed up.
“What are we even doing at the Meyers place?” she grumbled, not bothering to hide her impatience.
Back in the office, Brianna had no idea if Darcy was acting on Brandon’s orders or not.
With Brandon insisting on going to the Meyers place, she still couldn’t figure out what he was after.
“Didn’t you say the house is under your name? Just tell them to move out,” Brandon said, his voice cool and matter–of–fact, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
‘Did I just hear that right?‘ Brianna wondered.
She stared at him, eyes wide in disbelief.
Is Brandon drunk or what?‘ she thought. ‘Brandon, who’s always so obsessed with appearances, is actually telling me to go and reclaim a house? Seriously?‘

“Did you just say that?” Brianna asked, her voice laced with disbelief.
“Go claim what belongs to you,” Brandon said, his tone serious and unwavering
Brianna gave him a puzzled look, clearly baffled by his words.
She tried to figure out if he was joking or if he really meant what he said.
Brianna remembered how Brandon had acted when she tried to reclaim her mom’s jewelry.
He’d told her it wasn’t worth embarrassing herself over some material possessions.
Brianna could still picture that holier–than–thou look on his face.

‘Now he wants me to go reclaim the house?‘ Brianna thought. ‘If people heard that he was kicking his own father–in–law duy of his house, that’d be a total scandal.
“What for?” Brianna said, her brows furrowed in confusion.
“Make your position clear,” Brandon said, as curt as ever.
Brianna was left speechless–again.
‘It’s just a house. Who’s really going to care?‘ she thought. ‘If this is supposed to be revenge, that’s barely even a threat.‘
Brianna gave him a dirty look, then turned to stare out the window.
Her mind was racing with a mess of thoughts.
Brianna wondered, ‘Is Brandon cooking up some plan, or is he hiding some sneaky trick?
Is he seriously coming up with dirty moves, teaming up with Darcy just to mess with me?‘
With that thought, Brianna turned and studied Brandon with suspicion, trying to figure him out.
Brandon couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. ‘Is she seriously doubting me now?‘ he thought.
Brianna knew Brandon was impossible to read. His face was a total blank, never showing a hint of what he was thinking. Left with no other choice, she decided to just take it one step at a time and see what he was really up to.
At this point, all she could do was roll with the punches and handle whatever got thrown her way.
Soon, Brianna and Brandon pulled up at the Meyers place.
As they stepped inside, everyone from the Meyers family was gathered there.
When Brianna and Brandon walked in, Darcy and Whitney were both caught off guard.
“Brandon, what brings you here? Come, have a seat!” Whitney greeted him with a big, fawning smile, all but ignoring Brianna standing right beside him.
“Darcy, go get Brandon some water,” Blanca said, her smile bright as she tried to play matchmaker, clearly hoping to get her daughter and Brandon talking.
Darcy, with a subtle smile in her eyes, poured Brandon a glass of water, completely ignoring Brianna as if she were invisible.
Everyone in the Meyers family, except Reese, was all smiles for Brandon, welcoming him warmly.
But whenever their gaze happened to fall on Brianna, their expressions shifted to guarded suspicion.

Chapter 88.
Brianna glanced at the whole Meyers clan and honestly, she couldn’t stand the sight of them either.
Her face dropped and she scowled without even realizing it, her brows furrowing in irritation.
“Brandon, have some water,” Darcy said, looking at him with obvious affection in her eyes.
Brandon ignored her offer completely and instead pulled Brianna to sit next to him.
“No thanks. Brianna has something to say to all of you,” Brandon said.
Brianna gave him a dirty look, clearly annoyed.
‘Wasn’t he the one who wanted to come here? And wasn’t he the one who said we should take back the house?‘ Brianna thought. ‘Why am I suddenly the one who has to speak?‘
Brianna rolled her eyes at Brandon, her voice carrying a note of grievance.
“This house was bought by my mom, and the deed is in my name. Brandon wants us to reclaim it, so you all need to move out,” Brianna said.
She wasn’t about to get played again.
‘He wants to use me as his tool? Not falling for that,’ she thought.
Honestly, telling them to move out made her feel a whole lot better.
“Wow, Brianna, look at you, acting all tough now–actually kicking your own father out of his own house?” Jane was the first to fire back, her tone full of mockery.
Jane sneered, “Yeah, that’s right! The mighty CEO of the Levy Group and his wife, actually kicking your own father–in–law out of the house he’s lived in for decades?
“Aren’t you worried people will laugh their heads off? Is the Levy family so desperate for cash that you have to come steal the Meyers family’s home?”
Reese was practically exploding with rage, her mouth firing off words like a rapid–fire cannon, not giving anyone a chance to interrupt.
Brandon let out a rare, contemptuous snort. “Before you speak, you’d better think twice, and make sure you know exactly who you’re dealing with.”
Reese fired back, her voice sharp and full of attitude. “Who do you think you are? Just the CEO of the Levy Group, right? What, you gonna bite my head off?
“Everyone else might be scared of you, but not me! You’re just some kid, still wet behind the ears, trying to act tough in front of me. Go ask your mom about me.”
With Reese mouthing off without a filter, Darcy and her family couldn’t help but nervously glance at Brandon, worried that her words might set him off.
“Next time you want to make a scene, you’d better watch yourself-” Brandon said, his eyes brimming with contempt, though his voice stayed calm, almost gentle.
“The Pratt family spared you out of respect for Brianna’s mom. But me?” Brandon paused, his voice turning cold. “I’m not nearly that forgiving.”
With that, Brandon pulled out his phone and called his assistant.
He stared straight at Reese, his gaze cold and predatory, like she was already marked for the slaughter.

“Find out every investment Reese holds. Bet against her, trade aggressively with leverage, and target her positions precisely” Brandon commanded.
Reese’s eyes flickered with panic.
“Brandon, please don’t take it personally. Reese is just blunt. She doesn’t mean anything by it,” Whitney said quickly, trying to defuse the situation.
