Gone
3rd Person’s POV
The walk down the hall is suffocating.
Andrei’s shoes strike the tile with steady, deliberat clicks, the sound echoing sharp in the heavy silence. Behind him, Luka and Nico move like caged dogs, shoulders rigid, eyes burning holes into each other. Every muscle in Laka screams to throw himself back at his brother; Nico wears a half–smirk that begs for someone to hit it off his face.
Andrei stops so suddenly both of them nearly collide with him. He turns, gaze cold, voice like steel.
“Che cazzo c’è che non va con voi due?“(“What the hell is wrong with you two?“)The words land like a slap. Neither answers. Luka’s chest heaves, his hands flexing at his sides. Nico shoves his tongue against his cheek, unbothered.
Andrei’s jaw tightens. “Do you know what Aurora just saw? Do you know what that could do to her?“Luka’s eyes drop for a fraction of a second, guilt twisting his jaw. Nico snorts, low and
mocking.
“Then maybe that little bitch should stop sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong.
“Luka whirls on him, curses spilling hot and furious.
“Vaffanculo, pezzo di merda. Ti spezzo il collo.
“(“Fuck you, piece of shit. I’ll snap your neck.
“)He lunges, but Andrei’s hand lands firm and heavy on his shoulder, a warning.
“Basta.
“(“Enough.
“)His tone doesn’t rise, but it’s final. Absolute. Luka freezes, still trembling.
Andrei’s gaze slices to Nico.
“And you. Don’t think for even a fucking minute you’re off the hook. When I’m done with you, you’d better pray for your life, Niccolò Raffaele Russo. Brother or not.
“For the first time, Nico’s smirk falters, though the gleam of rage in his eyes doesn’t.
Andrei turns sharply, continuing down the hall. The three of them move like a storm contained in human skin. Students scatter to the sides, whispering as they pass.
By the time they push through the front doors, Lul and Nico are practically vibrating with the

urge to lunge. Nico mutters something under his breath–Andrei shoots him a glare sharp enough to cut him silent instantly.Out in the parking lot, Andrei scans the row of cars. His eyes narrow at the empty space where Aurora’s driver usually waits. His brow furrows.
“Where’s her driver’s car?“Nico shrugs, shoving his hands in his pockets.
“Probably took her home when the fight broke out. Poor little princess couldn’t handle it.
“Luka snaps, voice raw. “Can it, Nico.
“He half–steps forward, fists ready, but Andrei’s hand clamps down on his shoulder, grip iron.
“I said. Enough.
“The words crack through the air like a whip. Luka grinds his teeth, swallows his fury.
They walk to Andrei’s car. The tension is thick, vibrating off them in waves. Inside, the ride home is silent but suffocating–anger pressing against the windows, thick enough to choke. Luka stares out the window, fists bloodied in his lap. Nico leans back like he owns the leather seat, lips twitching

follow, doors banging shut too hard.
