Trash Husband, I'm the Top novel Chapter 406

Nora had sent her congratulations when he got married, but she hadn’t come back—she was in the middle of an important exam at the time.

By now, it had been six months since the wedding.

Louis offered a faint smile. “Thank you.”

After Nora left with the elderly Mrs. Cooper, Louis returned to his room. There, he found his wife standing by the window.

From that spot, she would have seen him talking to Nora just moments before.

“Judy,” Louis called her name gently, “are you upset?”

Judy was never one to beat around the bush. She met his eyes squarely. “You’ve gotten your memory back, haven’t you?”

Louis’s expression darkened, but he didn’t deny it.

Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears. “Back in Millbrook, the woman you cared for—it wasn’t Aurora, was it? It was Nora.”

His face grew cold in an instant.

He narrowed his eyes, realizing Judy had been digging into his past.

“Judy, you’ve gone too far.”

That reaction told her everything she needed to know.

Tears welled up in Judy’s eyes. She let out a bitter laugh. “So it’s true. You love Nora, not Aurora.”

“If you remembered all along, why didn’t you go after her? Why did you marry me?”

Louis didn’t explain. “That’s all in the past. It’s been six years, Judy. There’s no point clinging to old wounds.”

This Judy, so mired in the past, only made him colder.

Tears finally spilled from Judy’s eyes. “Six years may have passed, but you’ve never let her go, have you?”

“What are you trying to say?”

“Louis, let’s get a divorce.”

Judy could accept that Louis once loved another woman. What she couldn’t accept was that he still loved her now.

And that woman was Nora.
