Chapter 6
Amidst the sound of cracking bones and screams, Sean Miller handed me a handkerchief, barely containing his fury:
“Boss, let me go kill those two animals right now.”
I calmly wiped the blood from my face:
“They put so much effort into planning this wedding–shame to let it go to waste.”
“Our wedding planner’s on the payroll, right? Tell Stella to convince Bianca to hold the ceremony at sea. Use our most luxurious yacht. She loves showing off–she’ll go for it.”
Bianca fell in love with that yacht at first sight and took Stella’s suggestion immediately.
Vincent had no objections either.
The more lavish the wedding, the better he looked.
But on the wedding day, Bianca was nowhere to be found. Someone said they saw her heading to the luxury suite meant for their wedding night.
The guests joked:
“Bride’s so eager she can’t wait for the honeymoon! Shows how good Vincent must be in bed. Go get your bride–plenty of time to enjoy yourselves after the ceremony!”
Vincent smiled, but something felt off.
Surrounded by the crowd, he headed to the luxury suite.
The moment he opened the door, screams filled the air.
Bianca wasn’t in the room.
In the center of the rose–petal–covered bed sat a bloody fetus.
I clapped my hands and stepped out from the crowd, smiling:
“How spectacular.”
“Vincent, you always have such… unique decorations for your weddings. Aren’t you going to take a closer look?”
Seeing me, Vincent froze, then frowned:

“Lindsay, I told you to stay at the house and reflect. Who said you could come here? And staging this disgusting fake fetus to ruin my wedding with Bianca-”
“Where did you hide Bianca? Hand her over right now, or I’m reconsidering that marriage certificate.”
His words amused me:
“Vincent, you can’t seriously still think I give a damn about your so–called marriage proposal?”
“As for where Bianca is–don’t worry, I wouldn’t separate the bride and groom on their wedding day. She’s up on deck.”
Vincent ran to the deck skeptically, only to find a massive tank filled with sharks, their mouths gaping wide.
Bianca hung suspended above the tank, blood streaming from her belly.
Seeing Vincent, she screamed in terror:
“Vincent, save me! Lindsay’s insane–she cut our baby out of me! It hurts so bad, I don’t want to die…”
“Bianca!”
Vincent tried to rush forward but my guards blocked him.
“Lindsay, this is too far! You’re forcing me send you back to prison!”
He gestured for his men to grab me, but nobody responded.
I smiled at him:
“How do you like the yacht, Vincent? Did you really think I’d let your people board my ship when I came here to settle
accounts?”
“And about what you just said–let me remind you, we’re in international waters. You know what that means, right?”
Vincent’s face went white with rage:
“I never told them to take us into international waters! The captain’s your man too–you set me up!”
“Looks like all that time in your love nest didn’t completely rot your brain.”
“Lindsay, what the hell do you want?!”
I tilted my head with a smile:
“Finally asking the right question. I’m here to collect what I’m owed.”
