Chapter 8
Vincent had no idea that when he gave Bianca that necklace, I’d already gotten my hands on it.
One of the little decorative elements was actually a micro spy camera.
Right in front of Vincent, I connected the device to my laptop.
So he watched Bianca plant the leeches in her own bed, then manipulate him into finding them.
He saw her deliberately throw herself down the stairs, wheelchair and all, including everything she said.
Finally, he watched Bianca’s private conversation with those guards:
“Take her somewhere remote and kill her. Marriage certificate? In her dreams. I’m the only Mrs. Foster there’s ever going to be.”
Vincent’s face darkened. He walked to the tank and slapped Bianca as she hung there:
“What did I tell you? We were just having fun! You bitch actually wanted Lindsay dead?!”
“Giving you a wedding was already more than you deserved–who said you could get greedy?! Lindsay feeding you to the sharks would be getting off easy!”
Bianca sobbed pitifully:
“Vincent, I’m sorry! I love you too much—I lost my head for a moment. But Lindsay’s fine now, isn’t she?”
“After all these years together, after losing your baby… please save me…‘
Vincent hesitated again.
Honestly, Bianca had taken good care of him these past few years, really did bring back old feelings.
“Lindsay, she seems genuinely sorry. How about we let her go…”
“Sure. I’ll even let you go too.” I nodded.
Vincent didn’t expect me to agree so easily. He brightened:
“Lindsay, I knew deep down you still loved me.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll definitely send Bianca away this time–she’ll never bother you again. I know you can’t have kids anymore, but if you want, we could have her carry our children. She looks like you anyway, so the kids would look like

you too…”
Even now, he wanted it all.
“Vincent, don’t celebrate yet. I’m not finished.”
“Your business partners seem to have something to say. Hear them out first–then decide.”
As soon as I finished speaking, all the industry leaders Vincent had secretly backed over the years stepped up behind
They gave him cold smiles:
“Mr. Foster, if you’re planning to save Miss Bianca, don’t blame us for pulling our investments.”
I added fuel to the fire, tossing a document at his feet:
“Vincent, we founded this company together. We agreed from the start–fifty–fifty.”
“At first I thought you had me locked up just so I wouldn’t interfere with you and Bianca. But guess what I discovered?”
“While I was gone, you secretly used offshore channels to create shell companies, moving at least a billion in funds. Did you think I was dead?”
His eyes
fell on the money transfer evidence and bank records in front of him.
These most secret details–nobody knew about them except the assistant he’d hired three years ago… someone sharp and capable who seemed completely loyal.
He slowly looked up and spotted his assistant standing behind me.
Vincent finally understood, staring at me in disbelief:
“They’re all your people? You deliberately had them get close to me, give me what I wanted, earn my support–use me as a stepping stone to climb their way to the top of their families?!”
“Lindsay, you’ve been planning this from way back?”
